Ellie had been in the lake when she spotted him. She didn’t know if he would be there, but the fact that he was, gave her mixed emotions. With what she had heard Beth say that he told her, that fueled some type of fire in her and her anger growing back up. Getting out of the lake, not that she was going to stay in long. She had too much to drink and she wasn’t the best of swimmers. She had only gone in there to cool off from being beneath the sun for most of the day. Wringing the water out of her hair, not bothering to grab a towel, she headed towards where Sam was. Beads of water was sliding down her exposed skin, the light breeze wasn’t bothering her, even though her skin erupted in goosebumps. “Hey, jackass. So.. guess what?” She asked, slurring some of her words. She hadn’t stopped drinking since she got there and she was surprised she was still able to walk. “I heard some very interesting news from Beth. Two things that are funny there... I had to find out from her, and... AND! Beth was told first.” @samcaine​

Larissa spent most of her afternoon with her lawyer discussing her divorce. The case was hopeless in his opinoion there was a chance for her to make it through without much damage. She could not believe this since she knew Nathan would not give up without a fight and the truth was she was the one in  disadvantageous position. Even when David gave her hope, she still was pretty angry at herself for allowing this mess to happen, so she decided she needed some chocolate to calm her nerves. The redhead was just about to enter the nearest shop when carried away in your thoughts she bumped in somebody. “I am so sorry.” she said but when she raised her gaze she was surprised to see Sam Caine. She had not seen him since she left Springhill but she still remebered his face pretty well especially because she had a kind of crush on him back then. “Sam? Oh my gosh. I haven’t seen you in ages.” she could not help but smiled at him. 

beth wasn’t a girl who always won every argument and she always got what she wants no matter how hard she’s gonna have to fight for it. it’s was a part of her that no one could fix or take, or unless you’re some kind of a girl that really can’t stay away from someone's boyfriend and the boyfriend happen to choose you over her, that’s one of the reason beth couldn’t stand ellie. beth doesn’t share her man with anyone. beth only fights for people who will choose her over everything and sam didn’t do it. it’s been a few years since they saw each other, she heard he moved out and came back, but she couldn’t care less right now. she was living her dream with her job and no one could take that away from her.

the carnival was something beth will never forget, she waited for it every year only to make her feel a little bit younger. looking around at all the games, she was always winning at all of them because beth couldn’t face the L word since she was a little girl. when sam asked her to join him for a drink, beth couldn’t help but think about high school. them walking around like two love birds, but ten years later and they are there to grab a drink together. it was a sunny day so beth wore a short loose black dress with a pair of white sandals for the event. she went to the pop up bar cause that’s where he told her he was waiting for her. beth was looking around for him and when her eyes finally met his she walked to his direction. “hey there, do you come here often?” she joked with him. @samcaine​

“Lunch time~” Ellie spoke in a sing-song tone as she entered Sam’s office with a bag, ordering from one of Sam’s favorite places for lunch. Thinking it would be nice to surprise him with some food with how busy it had been that day. She was glad that there was time to have their lunch. With the office closed for an hour and without any interruptions, Ellie began to separate their food, handing Sam his before sitting in the chair that was on the opposite side of his desk. “I know you like it. If you decide this isn’t what you want.. that’s too bad and I’ll just end up throwing it on you,” She said in a teasing tone while setting up her little area. Taking a small bite of her food, she let out a hum. “I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to put something in my mouth...” She trailed off before speaking again. “Don’t make any comments. If you do, the throwing of the food on you will still happen.” @samcaine​
