You mentioned learning from YouTube. What channels do you recommend? (I’m a different person to the other anon, I was just curious because I love your art and want to improve myself)
Hi there! Here are some of my favorites:
-Sinix - Really good for basic fundamentals on anatomy. He simplifies things that are easy to understand. I still don’t really get painting, but he makes it a little less intimidating!
-Marco Bucci - An amazing painter that breaks down what makes a good image! His talks about light logic and color were super helpful to me.
-Adam Duff Lucid Pixul - Really helped my mental health as an artist. I think this is just as important as developing hard skills. Learning to love yourself and your work is really hard. And his talks about the artist mind makes me feel less lonely and understood. There are times I just started crying watching his stuff :’)
-Mohammed Agbadi - I love his style, and I find his tastes very similar to mine! He has short videos explaining light and color and also breaks down other artists’ works. Super insightful and interesting!
Hope this is helpful! And thank you so much for your kind words! ♥ ^_^
