SAKUTA AZUSAGAWA ! headcanons
a/n : crazy how theres literally NO fanfic content for this man... i was so downbad for him in 2020 holyyy
wc : 0.6k
he’s unexpectedly clingy. not in a smothering way, but once he knows you’re okay with affection, he’s always reaching out—hand on your wrist, pinkies linked, resting his chin on your shoulder like it’s second nature.
This ends the final chapter of Bunny Girl Senpai. When I got to the ending it started to hit me that I definitely either A) Already watched the ending via the anime, or B) I already finished the manga but I just couldn’t recall it.
Overall, I feel like this ending wasn’t that bad and it was really beautiful how Sakuta was trying to stay up despite having midterms just so he can see Mai and never forget her. And everyone in the school finally noticing Mai exists has to be the cherry on top for the best ending in this series. I also like how the author didn’t rush Sakuta and Mai into a relationship or rushed them to be sexual with each other, especially in that hotel bed scene if you know what I mean. I love how we got to slowly see their friendship blossom before they tied the knot, and to me that’s not only good character building, but it’s also really beautiful. There was a few parts I didn’t like, and that was maybe the sexual parts, I’m fine with stuff like that, but it gets annoying especially if it’s being brought up constantly as some type of comedy relief. Will I recommend Bunny Girl Senpai to others? Probably and probably not, it may be a short manga that’s 20 chapters long but feels shorter than that to me, but not a lot of people are into these types of world building/character building stories. Because I do admit the adolescent syndrome thing got a bit too confusing and just wasn’t explained the best. (That’s just my take and how I felt, I’m not saying everyone can’t understand the whole breakdown of it, but it was just extremely confusing to me. And I just found myself shaking my head somewhat confused and somewhat getting it). And will I buy the manga for my collection? Yes, I think it’s a series I don’t mind having on my bookshelf to read from time to time, or a series to collect in general too. And lastly, how would I rate Bunny Girl Senpai? I’d give this series a solid 8/10 or maybe even a 7.5/10.
