i thought it might be fun to draw some of my OCs from the pre-hyperbali, pre-almost everything about me on the internet. this is as far as i got before i got distracted
nikita - baby’s very first OC, within knowledge. i don’t remember specifically what i made her for, only that she existed; she was ethereally beautiful, kind, and wise. ...which was, of course, when making fun of mary sues at large really took off, and i was embarrassed, which is why she never ended up moving on to do much of anything else. would i use her again now? possibly - though these days i tend to write my characters with a lot of conflict, internally and externally, and i’d feel awful about doing that to her. ...though i’d change her name, now. the reasoning for that name is too embarrassing for me to admit
saita - my first OC on the internet, saita was part of an RP on a now-defunct writing forum. what i remember is that it was like...a school for superpowered teens, and the RP itself was their final graduation exams. everyone was placed into groups. saita had plant powers - and the only person i remember from her group was a shittalking flirty bastard with electricity powers, because they fell in love and he had to save her life before he admitted it, lmao. would i use her again now? probably not. it’s hard to see her as anything other than representative of “edgy pre-teen thoughts”
