I'm glad you asked anon!! The answer is simple really

The song itself is beautiful, The intrumentals and the voices especially Kanade's just makes me feels something, their voices is just so emotional and without even knowing the lyrics- It made me cry, the first time i played that song when it released I couldn't ap it due to the fact that I just tear up whenever i play it and mind you i still dont know the lyrics at that time which shows how much it convey the emotions perfectly (Its also the very first song that made me full on sobbing so it has a special place in my heart)

And really its just the song that perfectly describes how I'm feeling, every word and every lyrics just hits me, Its the song i relate to the most, something that just gets me y'know? Its my comfort song, something I always listen to whenever I have another depressive episode or when i consider ending it all and taking the easy way out.. it gives me hope

And the story for that song also adds to it, after all I also have grown to love the characters and so it just makes it even more important and thats why I love it
