Okay so I actually found the blank card on Pinterest which I actually want to make myself. How did you get the little icons in there because I’m trying to look online and you probably didn’t use Pinterest you probably use another website to get the little icons for the circles and squares and I want to try to make my own.

You actually inspired me to make April‘s little ACNH Card anyway I hope I’m not bothering you with these questions thank you and have a good day.

I’m using Adobe Express on my phone.

Of course you’re not bothering me! Let me try and break it down for you: (here’s seb again so you can see what I’m referring to)

THIS POST

- so I use Canva for any projects like this and I do have a Pro subscription to that which unfortunately most of the elements came from (the snake, the starsign, the hand etc)

- BUT for similar projects before I’ve found similar stuff on Pinterest, you just have to be specific (eg. Cartoon drawing of a snake)

- I can help out with fonts though! I tried my best to match Amiibo fonts and used ‘Fredoka’ for the number and ‘Lato’ for everything at the bottom

- I think I badly translated the names in Chinese and Japanese? I can’t remember fully 😭

- in terms of their poses, I got pictures of them in game and then edited out the background (Maeve’s was a bit more complicated as I Frankensteined 4 poses together and gave her a broom haha)

- the smell of wind — specifically when she’s flying. It’s NOT just fresh air and she’s sick of explaining that. The faster you go, the better the air smells. She doesn’t know why, she’s not a scientist. Go ask that book-nerd Sebastian or something.

- the scent of grass in summer. She loves summer, some of her happiness memories exist in lazy summer afternoons with her brother being lil mischievous shits and sneaking out. When the grass is a little dry and she can walk through barefoot, not giving a damn about the dress her mother forced her to wear. *chefs kiss*

- leather. She can’t place what from exactly. Maybe it’s a Quaffle? The leather in her gloves? The seat of her broom? Regardless, the scent is so entirely ‘Quidditch’ there’s no question at all why she smells it.

- At the very edges if she concentrates enough she smells dusty books. It’s not the scent of the library. But rather something muskier, a bit darker. Tainted at the edges by something green—

NO SHE DEFINITELY SMELLS TREACLE TART. DEFINITELY. 100%. NEXT QUESTION NOW. SHE’S JUST HUNGRY. YEP. FOOD? HAHA WHAT A GREAT IDEA. LET’S GO. *kicks Garreth for laughing*

(Now I’ve been assured this isn’t gross, I’ll edit to add: I also HC later in their story, Maeve smells sweat. Seb’s. Not in like a BO way cos ew. But like fresh sweat when he’s fresh off the pitch. Been living, breathing, moving. It’s salty warm skin. Ngl I personally love that smell on someone I’m attracted to, so Maeve can have it since Seb’s always sweaty around her. Cos quidditch, not like health issues lmfao)
