“It’s not safe here, you should go.”
DARK, THRILLING, AND/OR CRIMINAL SENTENCE STARTERS.
Chanyeol opens his eyes with a start, a soft gasp passing through his lips. His heart was racing inside his chest, and he can feel the initial panic take a hold of his body before slowly releasing from his body. Another dream.
“It’s not safe here, you should go.”
The fire that sparked at the office building was only a week ago, and it seemed like Chanyeol was the only one who did not believe the news articles that said it was an accident.
Chanyeol knows it’s not an accident.
Chanyeol knows the man he saw, knows that the tapes the police released are heavily edited, and he knows that it was all with purpose. The death toll, the burned filed, the lost paper trail. All of it.
Chanyeol sighs, wiping the sweat off his forehead as he swings his legs to the side, slowly getting up from his bed. He’s still somewhat sleepy, but he drags his body to his desk, hand reaching to open his laptop and squinting when the screen comes to life. On the screen, files and classified documents have all been pull out, a grainy picture of a man on the left of the screen.
“I know you’re real,” he murmurs to the picture on the screen, pulling his glasses to slide over his . “And I’m going to find out who you are.”
