Dawko looked at the poem that was teased with the new FNaF thing.
EDWINCHADS, WHERE DO WE PUT THIS NEXT W?
Also a bit of Temporary Paralysis vibes:
(In Safe Mode, there's a section where the characters come across soldiers in the afterlife trying to carry on their war. They pose the question: How does a war end in a world without death? How is a victor determined?)
Safe Mode
Dear Ms. Schubert, once a man with the face of a hummingbird that's risen forever into the air wanted to rent us an apartment. We were amazed by the bony shorthand of the rooms and the oil painting of the woman with sprouting wings. He said: "I was in love with this woman, but she left me forever. Don't you associate the word forever with something ephemeral and short-lived . . . ? She had the perfect body of a jet. A flat, triangular drone. That's why I've now moved to a military airport, to watch the sky. Sometimes it seems to me that she flies over me, deadly as a knife. I'm waiting fort the moment when in safe mode she will approach and land . . . Would you like to rent this apartment?" No, we didn't want to. And then the man with the face of a hummingbird rose forever into the air, and we, as usual, in a downpour of uncertainty, find ourselves somewhere nearby, in the very heart of the beyond.

Here it is. My favorite scene in all of Safe Mode.

You're more than that.
I think one of the worst parts about using this website is that there's literally no button to disable safe mode anymore. Incredibly frustrating.
