It actually was!! Long long ago, there was a blog that popped up in... 2013?, I think it was about that time, that was called “cryexposed”. 

Cryexposed posted a series of pictures of who they claimed to be Cry and then they vanished, thin air. 

Nobody at the time knew if it was real or a troll, so they just kinda logged that and moved on. Cry got really upset for a few days but he moved on too.

A year or so later, I was talking with one of my friends who was an artist in the Cry tag, they had grown pretty close to Cry and actually spoke to him every so often. We were close enough that they actually told me “Yes, Cryexposed was actually real but those pictures were really old. He underwent a huge weight loss”. They actually sent a picture of him to me and confirmed it (WHICH BEFORE YOU ASK I DO NOT HAVE IT ANYMORE (cause I was a fan at the time and felt bad for having it so I deleted it and I don’t have that laptop anymore ))

The way Cryexposed did it (I THINK at least, this is what I heard) was (hang in cause this is a doozy but it’s doable):

Cry had posted a picture of his Christmas tree on tumblr that year. Using that picture and the common knowledge of his full name, what ONE ROOM of his house looked like, and knowing that his mom and sister live with him, they used that to find his mom’s facebook. They knew they had it when the Christmas tree matched. 

The fact that he also used that to his advantage.

I watched a bit of his birthday stream with him crying and I heard him say that all he ever wanted to be was a cartoon and he just wanted to do voiceover stuff, which is fine. He had that made but then he literally goes and messes around with young girls that feel like they know him, that respect him and have let their guard down because they thought they could trust the guy they watched for so long.

Yeah! Exactly!!!

I answered that ask before Snake streamed so Snake adding that totally adds that if Cry really changed, he wouldn’t find himself doing this over and over and over for as long has he has been.

He can say he wants to change all he wants. He wants to change because he got caught and was called out is how I’m going to take it.  

I CANNOT and WILL NOT accept that he’s changed until he shows actually proof that he has and that will take years to come. By that time, he may even be a 40 year old man. Who knows. 

In all honesty, if he DOES want to change, I think at this point he still has to abandon everything. He cannot continue without the trust of his audience and trust is like a mirror. You can fix it if it's broken, but you can still see the crack in that mother fucker's reflection. Though, I don’t think his public image should even matter to him at this point if he TRULY wants to change. He should just be worried about making things right and changing himself. 

Again, though, if he was doing shit two days prior to the video he says “Oh hey I fooled with 16 year olds and cheated on my gf, I used to be horrible back then”, I don’t think his apology will be too genuine. 

My personal opinion is he can’t redeem himself. I think he planned to, I think he thought  him saying he’s a better person now was redeeming enough, but he will always have that tarnish. 

He can’t give back what he took from the survivors of this. He can’t reinstate the trust everyone gave to him, he can’t make people feel safe anymore since he’s done this. 

I feel like his time for redemption has passed. If it happened once and he came out about it back then and explained it was a mistake, we may have a different story, but this has happened several times over several years. Over several people. If it truly was just a mistake, I don’t think he would’ve made it however many times. 

In all honesty, I think it’s okay to watch someone, like their content, and trust them not to do bad things. I watch various YouTubers and I never think “oh man, I wonder if this guy likes 16 year old girls” because I have no reason to.

He took advantage of that trust. He took advantage of that community that he knew was a young age range. He had statistics and he knew what he was working with. If he was “hungry for validation” like Jund said, I don’t think that it would’ve gone nearly as sexual as it did.

You are totally fine, I am listening 20000 percent. 

It’s not your fault my dude! Like legitimately it is not your fault. I don’t want anybody to feel like some of us that are like “WE BEEN KNEW” are coming after people who just ignored it because that’s not what it is. When I say that, I mean the people who legit told us to shut up, told us to stop talking about it that there was NO WAY that it was true, and that we were (in Jund’s words) “butthurt fan girls”. 

I repeat, I do NOT want anybody to feel like that’s what that’s about. 

He’s been a comfort to a huge people, he’s been people’s whole childhood, he’s literally the reason I met my fiance. Without Cry, I wouldn’t have my life as it is now. And my dude, it’s totally okay! Like it’s okay that that comforted you, it’s okay that that it got you through.

It’s just.. you know now. You didn’t know back then but you know now. You feel betrayed, I know, and you deserve to feel that way. He should know why better, he should *be* better but he’s trash. Like, I don’t know exactly how I wanna word this but like here’s what I want to say: Don’t support him any longer but don’t be angry at yourself that you did support him. Those times you did support him, they were okay. 

You don’t have to be tuned into Drama 101 all time; You liked Cry and you were just fine. That’s okay, that’s perfectly fine my dude. Now you know the truth, you realize he’s not as great as you thought and your opinion changed and that’s okay.

There is a LOT of stuff like that.

Like he could’ve discouraged a lot but he didn’t.

I feel like, also, none of us would’ve made any of that sort if he hadn’t expressed his love for hentai/boobs/butts in front of his young following.
