Thinking about Blink again. She hates being a con, no one takes her seriously she's prime punching bag material and she's really too much of a coward to be of much use in a fight. She's miserable and spends as much time as possible shirking her duties because she doesn't care about The Cause and she mostly gets away with it because bots don't tend to think about her unless she's done something to piss them off. And yet, the idea of leaving the depecticons never once crosses her processor.
Why?
Because she's fully bought into the depecticon promise that violence=power and the only way she can conceive of her situation changing is through getting powerful enough that people can't push her around any more. That's why she joined up in the first place and its why she would never consider leaving. DJD aside, being an autobot or some coward neutral running away from it all does not offer the power she wants, so she will never leave.
AI writing is so painfully obvious to me. I can’t fault people for falling for something practically created to deceive people but also it’s just like Jesus I can’t even get through 2 paragraphs without the annoying saccharine generic advertisement-like style turning me off. It’s soo grating, how does anyone tolerate it!
