[ 6PM ] a car interior, passengers stuck on a dangerously snowy & dark road.
Like clockwork.
The transport sputters as it rolls to a shuddering stop. Between the dying gasps of the engine and rising steam throwing a blinding wall of fog across the windscreen, it's obvious there has been a critical failure. Not something that can be patched up on the side of the road though the driver still steps out to assess the damage.
âTalk about a frosty reception.â He unhelpfully offers as he pulls his coat tighter. He wasn't particularly precious, but the heating is quietly missed. Although he can handle a variety of extreme situations it doesn't mean he doesn't find simple pleasure in comforts like warmth on a freezing night.
Leon frowns and presses a finger to his ear. There's a brief update with headquarters. They're sending another transport to their location, but the weather pushes back the estimated time of arrival. He thanks Hunnigan and tries to remain still. Doesn't like that he can't see the driver. âI'll be right back.â He steps out to retrieve them. As ever, he's paranoid about something going wrong.
