As a grad student at Stanford Law, Sam has moved into a very particular side job--that is, filming porn. Despite the fact that luck has never been on his side, he's hit jackpot with a safe, humane studio and a director/occasional costar that might just be the love (and bane) of his life. When Gabriel flies them to the Bahamas with a cameraman and calls it a business venture he can't help but feel guilty for the lavish treatment, but hey, when in Kokomo...
Summary- Gabriel isnât doing too well after losing his powers, and Sam has a talk with him.
No warnings, just 600 words of emotional Sabriel fluff :)

âYeahhhhh!â
Sam shook his head as he walked up to his room and heard Gabriel sing along with that song for what seemed liked the hundredth time. After the unfortunate hunt two days ago where he had his grace stolen, Gabriel had holed up in his room binge-watching that stupid cop show, only coming out to eat.
They were trying their best to find out how to get his grace back, but it was going slow. Plus, Gabrielâs mood wasnât helping matters much, which was why Sam took a break from research to try to get him to help out, or at least feel better.
Sam knocked on the door a couple of times before opening it and walking into the room. He found Gabriel laying on his side on the bed, staring at the TV. âGabe, I know you lost your powers, but watching this crappy TV show for days isnât going to help.â
âHey, donât diss CSI Miami,â Gabriel said, not turning from the TV. âItâs my comfort show. One of my favorites.â
âYeah, I figured that. You must have been pretty into it to have actually been stabbed by me back then,â Sam replied, thinking back to his time in TV land. Gabriel really did seem to enjoy the cop procedural, along with all the other shows they were trapped in.
Gabriel frowned and sat up. âAh, right. That. Well, it didnât work huh? Not just a trickster. Did hurt a little though.â
Sam was caught off guard. âWait, that hurt you? But I thought it wouldnât affect an archangel.â
âI was enough of a trickster for it to sting a bit.â Gabriel shrugged. âI was fine, just had to take a little time to recover.â
David Carusoâs voice droned on in the background as Sam thought about Gabrielâs reply. That explained how he and Dean made it back to the hotel before the next trick started. He did feel somewhat bad about hurting Gabriel, even if it was intentional at the time. âSorry about that, but you did turn me into a car afterwards.â
âYep. Guess weâre even then.â Gabriel shot a quick grin at Sam before flopping back down on the bed.
Sam sighed, laying down next to him. Somehow this was a normal conversation to him. Turning into cars, tricksters, TV land- and that wasnât even the beginning of what had happened to him. There were certainly rocky spots in his and Gabrielâs relationship. However, things had worked out, and he couldnât be happier that he and Gabriel were together. With that thought, Sam remembered what he went there to do and turned over to face him. âThatâs true though.â
Pausing the TV, Gabriel rolled over to look at Sam. âWhat?â
âYouâre not just a trickster. Not just an archangel either. Youâre Gabe, who likes watching CSI Miami, and baking desserts, and helping me play pranks on Dean.â Sam reached out a hand to cup Gabrielâs face. âThatâs what I fell in love with, not your flashy powers.â His eyes widened, and Sam couldnât help but kiss him softly on the lips. âThe powers are a nice bonus though,â Sam joked after slowly pulling away.
Gabriel laughed once, a genuine smile growing on his face. âYouâre too good for me.â
Sam also smiled, taking his hand back. âWeâll find your grace. But even if we didnât Iâd still love you how you are.â
âSamâŚâ Gabriel looked at a loss for words, finally just leaning in to kiss Sam, deeper this time.
They broke apart, and Sam wrapped his arms around Gabriel, drawing him to his chest. Research could come later, now he just wanted to stay right where he was.

There was always an order to his punishments, no matter how it looked outside of his mind. He had his own thing going just right.
