My grandmother used to both knit and crochet until I was in my late teens, but she stopped when her hands got too tired to do it as well as she wanted it done (my grandma was a bit of a perfectionist). She passed away in July. So today I've lit a candle for her and I have now sat down to knitt a scarf for my friend. Hopefully my grandmother would have liked how it turns out whenever i'm done with it. And I hope she knew how much she meant to me.

I had a lovely Lughnasadh yesterday. I cooked lots of food and bread then my wife and I went on a hike and picnic with a good friend. I know Lughnasadh is not the most liked holiday for most pagan/wiccans but I really had an amazing day.
