And I don’t have a comeback to that.

That said, we’re debating whether or not the golf championship was on Tuesday

I don't have a favourite topic per se, more like a set of genres or tropes I like to write. I live for codependent friendships, or friendships where the main character is obsessed with the friend more than the reverse, like platonic pining. I think it makes for interesting storylines! You get yearning without falling into the trap of love at first sight (which I personally don't write).

Anatagonists/Idiots to lovers - a bit different from enemies because I don't think I've ever written true enemies, but I like to write people that don't like each other finding common ground enough to look past their differences

Diversity - I love researching cultures and lifestyles very different to my own when I write. I've written main characters of different ethnicities, gender expressions, trans girls, different wealth classes etc

I love to say my 3 categories of work are girls gone mad, girls gone sad and girls gone bad.

Usually my MCs are girls, but project Autumn (my new YA fantasy wip) is going to follow a disabled boy so that's going to be really interesting for me to try!
