you know this whole thing would probably work better if colluding with the Cylons on new caprica was remotely close to the worst thing baltar did that we the audience knew about. like the only reason he gets let off is bc they either have no evidence of or don't even know about the worst stuff he did which is funnyyyyyy

#bsgwatch #s3e20 #I mean roslin suspects he had a hand in the original cylon attack but has no evidence #and tbh she doesn't even know exactly what he did there #but then they don't even know he faked the cylon detector and didn't tell them about sharon #(who then almost killed Adama btw)#or that he helped the 6 from pegasus escape and hid her in the fleet #OR that he gave her a nuke #which she blew up and killed like. a LOT of people #and also the nuke was how the cylons even found them on new caprica #also that time he shot a guy in the head but I guess relatively speaking that was a minor one #I mean some people do know about it but it never gets brought up or anything #there were parts of this conversation that I liked thematically #but I don't think it really works with the focus being on baltar #*because* we're not actually accounting for all or even most of the stuff he did. it doesn't quite land iykwim
