#s3 mod

This mod edits the models of fish so that when you place them in the world they don't turn into tiny grey fish! This should make it much more fun to create fish markets, supermarket displays and just for general decorating :) All fish can be placed on small slots.

This currently does NOT change the model of the fish that cats catch when they are hunting, I tried many times but couldn't get it to work unfortunately.

This mod only overrides the MODELS not TEXTURES so any default replacement textures you have will be compatible!

I am not really back from the dead but I decided to repost a tuning mod of mine because I figured you will quite like it.

This tuning mod that will alter the prom experience for your sim teens comes with some flavors. Please choose only one because multiple versions of this mod will conflict with each other.

Proms are special: lowers the overall chance of proms to 0.05 (0.5 by default) and the cooldown to 4 sim weeks (instead of 2 weeks).

Lower prom royalty chance: Makes the weight of your teen sims friends 0.05 instead of 5 to become a prom royalty.

Proms are special + lower prom royalty chance: A combination of "Proms are Special" and "lower prom royalty" flavor. (So you really don't need to try install both versions!)

Every 3 days is prom: The prom tuning mod from Devilgurl (who deleted their Mod the Sims account so I provide it here) that makes the prom chance to 100% and every 3 sims days.

Every 3 days is prom + lower prom royalty: A combination of Devilgurls prom tuning mod and lower prom royalty" flavor.

Non american mode (Experimental): That will "remove" proms by turning the base chance of the event to 0.

These mods only work with The Sims 3 Generations installed so there is a prom in the first place.

In The Sims 3, a game with a certain emphasis on parties and going out to the clubs, I’ve always thought that there isn’t enough fitting music. Of the 20 packs released for the game, only 3 have added music to the Electronica station. The newest is Late Night, from 2010. 

In total, there's probably little more than 20 tracks on the radio, all from a very specific time period.

So there's definitely room for more, newer and more varied music. With some effort, it's possible to add tracks to existing radio stations, or to create entirely new radio stations. So I intended to at least double the amount of available music. Of course, I’ll create my new station (thinking of “Club”) and release it like all my other mods.

And that’s where I need the help of others!

I couldn’t possibly know all the good music out there, all the house, trance, EDM and everything else of the last decades. I need tracks!

There’s a few questions I ask to determine whether a track is suitable for use in the game:

Is the track the right length (3-5 minutes)? If not, I can edit it?

Are there lyrics in the track? And if so, could they be mistaken for glibberish? If there are, but they couldn't, can I find an instrumental version?

Does the track sound good in the game? Is the pacing right, would the devs perhaps have picked this track themselves?

Would you hear this track in a club? And would you dance to it?

Is this track available for free on YouTube or Soundcloud?

It’s due time that hairdressing made its way into the sims 3! Time to sharpen your styling skills and start taking clients (if they’ll agree to it, that is)!

Hairdressing is playable from the hairdresser side as well as the client side and you can choose whether or not using the chair takes you into CAS.

Consider Getting Hair Done

Keep track of your successes, fails and styling skill level with the new portfolio object. It’s handy to keep around the salon/your sims’ kitchen; it may end up getting you new customers—or potentially losing them.

The chair is compatible with the Ambitions Styling Career; you can fulfil hairstyling jobs (even without going to CAS) and gain XP.

Requires: Ambitions.

Recommended: Consort’s Age Mod. Also, if you have FloTheory’s Just Sit Mod, sims may autonomously relax in hairdresser chairs. Keep an eye out and your hairdresser can shoo them off the seat.

“Why would I want this update?” you ask. Well, if you have a lot of sims with businesses, sometimes there may be a time when one business supplies goods to another. 

For example:

My poor tea shop owner, Suzanne Henning, is having trouble growing herbs for her shop. So, since my supermarket owners have an abundance of herbs, they’ll become the main suppliers of herbs for Mrs Henning’s business.

Instead of delivering the goods to her house, they can send the stock straight to her shop!
