Oh boy, he’s angry now! Part of the reason he’s so upset must be because it’s Matsuri of all people who’s lecturing him. You know, that one person who’s been on his side and admires him so, the one person he probably thought would be on his side no matter what.
Even Ango can see that something’s off with Ryo.
And now the jerk made her cry! Interestingly enough, the scene where he hits Ango is the last we see of Ryo in this chapter. We don’t get to see his reaction to Matsuri’s outburst and tears. Are you feeling quilty, even just a little bit, Ryo? Or do you really not care at all? Somehow I find that one hard to believe. Hopefully we’ll see his reaction in the next chapter.
All in all, I really do like the way things are going with them. It would’ve just been so lame if they’d gotten together without there being any major conflict before it. It works for some ships, but not these two, not with all that Ryo’s done. I have high hopes for what Tamura has planned for this ship and who knows, maybe we’ll finally get a little peek at Matsuri’s past, too.
