week 26 "the young magistrate chieftain runs as quickly as his paws can take him. he had peered over the ridge, to see his village in flames. despite his burns and exhaustion, he wished desperately to run in and help, but.. the pyric enclave lines the border. itd be a death sentence to go in now he had been separated from his cousin in the chase.. the soldiers of legend follow effortlessly, on the backs of armored burrow stags, almost tauntingly, hunting the last of the chieftains. completely exhausted now, ponte hides behind a stalagmite, begging the great dreamers that this isnt how it ends.. he hears the clanking of the armored stag grow closer.. ponte holds his breath, but worries that she can already smell his fear and exhaustion. the soldier taunts him.. saying she saw his unlikely escape from the burning wreckage, watching him abandon his people..
