Okay, so, anyone who's a Ryden die-hard knows about this theory, knows it by heart, but quick recap

On Ryan's 21st birthday they went to New York to celebrate his birthday, and by the end of the night he was on a plane back to Seattle to see Brendon who was there for a show they were going to play I a couple of days instead of with Keltie.

The only evidence of this theory was northern down pour and this photo

But what if there was a little more??

I was on tik tok the other day (ik ew) but someone posted this video of a song Ryan Ross wrote and was preforming, if anything sounds familiar let me know, if you agree or disagree it's apart of the Seattle Theory proof or not. Let me know, give me your opinions 🥰🥰

The song starts off with an anti gay propaganda message called “Boys Beware”

Which could mean this could be about a gay affair or that this takes place during a time being gay wasn't really respected or the norm meaning they could be bullied or harassed for being gay (AKA any time in the early 2000’s).

I personally think that the song specially is being told in the perspective of the fling/side chick (AKA probably Brendon) and the good majority of the album is written from the perspective of the person wanting to smash (maybe Ryan)

I’d like to start off by saying that the topic of being together had been brought up before, not wanting to sleep with Ryan until they made their love official, prompting this line from maybe Ryan...

“If you change your mind you know where to find me” (g/g/b) and since Brendon can not resist because he loves the guy so damn much he shows up- “Well, I never really thought that you'd come tonight” (ftytd) (this could also be untrue cause ya know, Dallon wrote ftytd lmao)

Brendon is the lover because he is convinced that they are in love when the reality is, is that they aren’t, and he’s laying on the left side of the bed (duh)

“Sinner on the right”

Ryan is committing “sins” such as, doing the big gay (Which could be weighing on his conscience or something), cheating, lying, and lust. That too..

Ryan doesn’t want Brendon to ruin the mood after sex with Brendon's needs to be in a relationship with him

Ryan doesn’t want anyone to find out about them having sex, it could ruin his reputation, ruin the bands reputation, ruin the band, and Ryan's relationship his girlfriend

This line could imply that their friendship has already been destroyed do to creative differences or because Brendon fell in love with him, and either Ryan or Brendon wants one or the to stay for pillow talk, because that's all they have left in their relationship, whatever it is.

Ryan feels guilty for constantly calling Brendon over to smash despite not loving him

Brendon is mad at himself for letting Ryan get to him when he wants more than just sex

Okay okay don't be mad, THIS IS MY OPINION.

In conclusion, I think Sarah Smiles is about Ryan and Sarah.

But not in the way you think, in the song it starts off with my first piece of evidence.

1.) I was fine, just a guy living on my own, Waiting for the sky to fall. Then you called and changed it all, doll.

He was talking about the after math of to put it shortly, "ryden". He was done, ready to give up waiting for the world to just end. Then Sarah came into his life.

2.) Velvet lips and the eyes to pull me in. We both know you'd already win. Mm, your original sin.

I think this is about Ryan, because not only is being gay a sin, not that this line has anything to do with that but! Lust is also a sin, and what Brendon and Ryan had was just lust I'm sure Brendon wanted more but it was just lust, and it always sucked him in.

3.) You fooled me once with your eyes, now, honey, You fooled me twice with your lies, and I say,

He saying how Ryan used to trick him, with lies and his good looks but now...

4.) Sarah smiles like Sarah doesn't care, She lives in her world, so unaware. Does she know that my destiny lies with her?

But now that he's found Sarah, he believes he's safe with her, in my opinion it was his crutch. He lost likely didn't want to be alone.

5.) Are you saving me?

He asks "are you saving me?" Because he wants to know if she's saving him from his problems or just distracting him, it the same with his belief that she is his destiny, he was so broken and hurt he needed a 'high' and Sarah.

And if that's the case then it makes sense then the lyrics "she doesn't care" "she's unaware" "she lives in her world" makes sense, because when you get high, if you space out you're off in your own world. It a distraction.

6.1) Waking up to a kiss and you're on your way.

Casual sex, AKA casual affair, AKA Ryan and Brendon's relationship

6.2) I'd really hoped that you would stay, But you left and went your own way, babe.

Adding to the casual thing, after sex Ryan would probably just leave him, and from many theories I've heard before. And many theories I've made before, it as always pointed to Brendon wanting more, wanting him to stay but he wouldn't.

6.3) I don't mind, take your time, I got things to do Besides sit-around-and-wait-for-you. Oh and I hope you do too.

He played it off like it never bothered him when it clearly does. The whole fact that Ryan just up and left him hurts but he's playing it off like it doesn't.

7.) It's killing me inside! Consuming all my time, You've left me blind! And when I think I'm right, You strip away my pride, You cast it all aside, but I say,

In the end, Ryan leaving him was killing him, when he's thinks he's okay, he's not, he was left with a band he didn't even start, and was left blind with no direction to where he had to go next. He was casted aside and that damaged him. But in then he found Sarah and she was a beacon of hope for him.

In conclusion, it was about what Sarah fixed when Ryan left.
