Lightning has been a fan of Star Wars since watching A New Hope when he was a kid, as he’s been keeping up with it ever since. He’s not super obvious about it, but he definitely enjoys it.

So when Lightning learns that Laney loves Star Wars, it’s great because he feels like he finally has some kind of common ground with these next gen kids.

I legit am imagining me after a long tiring day of school, and the next gens in Chibi Cars forms all sitting with me on the hammock, talking to the tired me...

Oh, where was I? Right! Headcanons.

Ryan is the dad of the group; if they go out drinking, he's the one to guide them all home bc he's the only sober one of the bunch

Chase is the voice of reason, especially when they are at any kind of amusement park; he's not a big roller coaster guy

Danny is the one to pick all the food places; all the next-gens (yes, even Jackson), agree the Spanish racer is the superior restaurant-finding tool when compared to Yelp

Bubba is the one to invite random people, sometimes; the dude is known by everyone, and especially since he and Ryan are BFF's, there are always random cars on the next-gen escapades

Cruz is the comedian that tells all the jokes when they're driving from place-to-place

Since halloween is coming up soon, I was wondering what you think the next gens will dress up as for the holiday.

Good ole' Halloween :P

Jackson: Does not do 'dress up' (although, Bubba and Ryan probably paint a mustache on him while he's asleep 0.0)

Ryan: I mean, Han Solo, obv (I HC him to be as big a SW fan as Ryan Blaney)

Bubba: LOL, I feel like he'd dress up as a pop star for some reason; like, maybe Lady Gaga? XD

Chase: A cowboy so he has an excuse to wear his hat :3

Danny: Hector from Coco bc yes

Cruz: A crab! :D

Istg if I don't see a bit of next gen content on any cars themed blog I swear my body will shut down inside /j

If she does end up karaoke-ing alone, she'll probably sing In Summer or Let it Go or something from Frozen lol (me: despises frozen with a passion hotter than the surface of the sun XD)
