- I think that Ryan would find it easier to accept her sexuality than Bam would. I think that Bam (especially when she’s younger) would be quite male centred so I think she’d adapt a lot of toxic masculine ideas around gayness to attempt to fit in with the male skaters she hung around. She’d probably make a lot of homophobic jokes to get a laugh out of the guys which I think that Ryan would shout at her for.

- Ryan would come out sometime in the late 90s and she faced a lot of schtik from her peers for it. I don’t think anyone was surprised by her coming out though - she always dressed a little more masc than the other girls- and people had been making jokes about it for years. A lot of guys at parties would get drunk and ask her and other girls to make out for them which always pissed her. One time a guy asked her and Bam to do it and she finally lost it and punched him.

- I think their relationship would start off as a friends with benefits situation - Bam would adamantly declare that it’s not gay - but would turn into an actual relationship around the early 2000s. Bam wants to keep it a secret because she’s still closeted and Ryan doesn’t mind because it’ll keep the guys off their back. This doesn’t really last long though because Bam would get far too jelous of people hitting on Ryan. Bam is also a terrible actor and lets their cover slip constantly, especially when she’s drunk and touchy.

- I think that Ryan would be a curvier girl and prior to them dating Bam probably would have given her a bit of shit about it. This was mostly why Ryan didn’t think Bam would ever date her even though she could tell she had a crush on her. After they started having sex though Ryan would discover that Bam actually loves her body and she’d worship it every time they would get intimate.

- Body worship would be a big thing in the relationship in general not just from Bam but from Ryan as well. Bam is really insecure about her body and would be constantly on crash diets to try and lose weight. Her walls would be plastered with super skinny 90s and 2000s models and she’d obsessively read those horrible magazines that only talked about how fat certain celebrities had gotten. When they where still just friends Ryan would silently worry as she watched her friend fall into unhealthy cycles of purging/restricting but when they started having sex/dating she realised that worshipping her body during sex was the best way to get her out of her own head.

- Ryan buys Bam frilly lingerie/underwear because she loves knowing she’s wearing it underneath her baggy skater jeans. She spends ages in lingerie shops picking out the ones she thinks suit her the best and loves to come home and surprise her with it . Her favourites to buy always have lace and frills and dangly hearts.

- I think that Bam would be quite the tease with it as well just to get Ryan worked up. She’d wear her jeans purposefully low on her hip so that a bit of lace can be seen peeking through if you look closely enough.
