                           There was a moment of hesitation- it was only this moment? That felt so ephemeral. So momentary. So impermanent. It sounded like it didn’t matter beyond the moment. And she leaned in to close the last of the distance, lips meeting the other girl’s, this kiss less for show than the last they’d shared, and more for her own sake, something she desired, something she wanted, something she needed, almost to the core of her.
