I had to do one more ruthy guys

FIRST OFF, I love the stunning artwork of the comic but the ending disappointed me. The journey was great, destination not so much. 9/10

In the comic, Krem of the Yellow Hills is a deputy who kills Ruthye's father on a whim so Ruthye goes to a local tavern to get a warrior to fight for her. Said warrior steals her sword, Kara steals it back, then the next morning she's walking to her ship only to find Krem trying to steal it. Krypto gets poisoned, Krem steals the ship, so Kara takes Ruthye with her since she can identify Krem on sight, and they spend several issues planet-hopping. The intergalactic bus ride is attacked by a space dragon that Kara defeats with the help of some magic pills. Meanwhile, Krem has joined the Brigands who spend all their time committing planetwide genocides. Kara stops at each planet he ravaged to help the locals then gets teleported to Barenton via a magic marble as soon as Krem sees her (he knew he was being followed and planned for her). Kara spends 9 hours suffering under a Kryptonite sun but eventually it's sunset and she flies them out of there. After reviewing horrific footage of one of Krem's genocides (she leaves Ruthye outside so we don't see it), Kara flies into the vastness of space to scream then hunts down Krem a second time. Using a magic horse, she races to the edge of reality where the laws of magic and physics are iffy and pops the magic marble.

To make a summary even shorter, Ruthy catches up to Krem, slices off his fingers, then Kara transports him to the phantom zone. Since Ruthye is narrating her memoirs, she writes that Kara drives her father's sword into Krem's heart because her reader will want the satisfaction of his death. In the present and actuality, Ruthye is an old woman leading a peaceful life on her home planet while an adult Kara visits her to free Krem from the phantom zone. Krem is elderly and after a century of thinking on what he did, he apologizes profusely to Ruthye who hits him with her cane and walks off with Kara, her burning need for revenge cooled after a few decades. Also, Krypto was in no real danger and Kara just wanted to take Ruthye on a space road trip to understand that revenge is meaningless.

As a fellow Pinoy, it's nice to see some representation of Ruthy's and Eugene Cordero's Filipino heritage. (‘Sampaguita’ is the national flower of the Philippines)
