#SaturdayThrowback: Last night (6/17/2022) was the first ever Capital District Digital Listen Up Awards show at Lark Hall. Put on by both RadioRadioX and Mirth Films, this casual music awards show was fun, relaxing, and aimed to return togetherness, fairness, & commaderie amongst bands, solo/duo acts, publications, and creatives who are out there making this 518 scene what it is!! I rocked out to “T.V. Doctors”, “Kyla Silk” & “Iko The Dog”, watched winners receive their awards, & hosts give inspirational speeches!! Ruth Pelham and the late Buck Malen received honorary awards!! I was on an energetic high coming home from the show!! Aliens may have invaded Lark Hall but it’s our music & creative community who will help bring each other up & help us all succeed..!!!
