yeehawgust pieces so far. i work weekends so yesterday i just did some scribbly sketches to get caught up. may or may not flesh them out further at a later date.

also til the the original story was the a Civil War soldier wrote his girl and told her to tie a yellow handkerchief around the old oak tree outside of town to let him know if he should step off the stage coach or keep moving. the guy who wrote the song literally went "ew hankies are gross. turn ts into a ribbon."
