Gift giving headcanons, letzz go!!

Bloom: She's pretty good at gifts. She only really had one friend and her parents growing up, but that was enough for her to get a hang of things. She's very good at making personalized gifts. Matching winx friendship bracelets, simply jewelry in general, customizing a jacket, doing a painting of their favorite flower, earth candies they have never tried, ect ect. She feels awkward next to resident rich kids Stella and Tecna at first, but by s2, it all matters so much less to her. Small, cute things she pours her heart into. You can also definitely make requests, like Stella would probably ask for Bloom made earrings, Flora to get flowers painted on her jeans, a CD of earth music for Musa. Bloom absolutely loves doing littol projects for her friends like this

Stella: I imagine she's kinda bad at giving gifts. Mostly because between her parents and being extremely lonely growing up, she had like no practice picking out personalized gifts for people for holidays and parties. The most is like. Giving fancy jewelry to other famous people her age when she's invited to their birthday galas. So she goes the classic route of quantity over quality, you'll like one of the 10 different things she bought you, she's absolutely sure of it! And if all else fails she brings out her secret weapon, giving you fucking money baybe!!!!! If you let her buy stuff for you all the time, *cough* Bloom *cough* she will get a sense for things you like and get you a million of them :] its also really easy to just. "Hey Stella! I want X." Done deal

Flora: The best gift giver in the winx. No one was surprised. Had both a lot of practice picking good gifts and is very good at picking up on other people likes and remembering things they want. Yk when its someone's birthday and you immediately blank on everything about them. She simply doesn't have that problem. Keeps a running tally of things her friends might want, really good at very personalized gifts. Buys Stella hair masks from linphea, Bloom oil pastels because she knows Bloom doesn't like the other kinds, she asks Tecna because she knows that what they'd prefer, a vinyl Musa mentioned wanting, a new water bottle and water resistant stickers for Aisha. She knows what shes doing

Tecna: She is well practiced in the art of just asking people what they want. Oh, it's your birthday? What do you want? Oh, it's a gift exchange? What do you want? Simple. Straight forward. Secret Santa's are a vile attempt on her life. She knows enough about her friends to be able to mostly get them gifts blind, like. If Tecna had to do a secret santa for Flora, she's just figuring out what brand of fertilizer or plant pots she uses and buying more of the thing that Flora proveably likes. But she's unlikely to get anything new. She gets better at it post s2 when she gets more in touch with her emotions

Musa: She has a pretty average time gift giving. Feels more awkward for longer about the resident rich kids, and then she watches Aisha's hilarious scramble to get them half decent gifts and feels a lot better. It's not instantly gone, but yk. She does a lot of homemade gifts like Bloom, but in her own direction. Making CDs, she can sew a bit and do patches on clothes, custom arrangements, and remixes of songs, but also Musa is more likely to do experiences over physical gifts. Like Bloom hasn't done a lot of things in Magix, well Musa got her tickets. Things like aquariums or candle making session that are relatively cheap (~20$), but the person their intended for really like

Domino: They are about to hit deification unheard since Daphne lost her life fighting and sealing the ancestral witches. The Winx and Daphne are basically the reason any of them are alive right now, so they're all extremely thankful, and also, there are plans for a statue. Only Stella likes this. Of course, Bloom is their favorite bc both princesses worked together to save them?? They need 27 songs, 5 plays, and a movie about this STAT. No where gives the winx special treatment like domino. They get like, free food and shit its crazy. They probably have like an award or something

Solaria: They have a headstart on having opnions on the winx because Stella is like the only member who is actively a celebrity (unlike Sky or Aisha, who are not recognized even by other royals). Solaria is a little more parasocial with the winx because their parasocial with Stella, and she posts about them. A lot. Stella's Instagram is hilariously enough plot relevant because before the winx do something insanely illegal, like, for example, crashing a royal wedding where the bride was working with Valtor and sold out the second Sun of Solaria, Riven suggested they livestream it. So no one can lie about what happened when they all inevitably go to court, and Stella has the biggest following. This combined with Stella taking videos and photos during the war on magix and after many fights. That's literally their girls. A common meme is *my aunts wedding - Stella's newest lifestream* Straight-up celebrities, their princess is fighting the forces of evil on live. Other planets also have people who followed Stellas, but the Solarians are different, they were day ones

Tecna: Literally doesn't read books. She has databases. The things she reads most are articles and like online instructions. The only book she read is when Avalon set off her creep meter. She's a zoomer, your honor. She googles it or watches a video

Stella: She owns a few trashy romance novels that she bought while growing up, and a surprisingly well loved collection of "History of Fashion" books, but to be honest, she mostly just looks at the pictures unless she really likes something and wants to know where it came from, but otherwise doesn't read. Let's be entirely honest

Musa: She doesn't read a lot, but she definitely reads more than above by reading her textbooks at all. When she was younger, she used to constantly read scripts of plays and operas her mother was in, both when she was alive and for a bit after she died. She still does this now, though less often. She also reads poetry books when she has downtime. And also fanfiction. You know you KNOW she would. Mostly fanfics about her fav bad boy from a show, but when she was younger, it was entirely RPF about musicians she had crushes on... she still reads them every now and then

Aisha: She's read a LOT of books, a lot against her will. Though she doesn't hate reading, it was an option for escapism. She loved books that were about women dancing through all the rules and etiquette to get what she wants in the end. Although her favorite books were simple fairytales of a princess escaping a tower for unknown reasons. When she got more choice in the books she could read, she ended up reading a lot of action wishfullment about girls who rise up to become the strongest and coolest after hard ship. She reads these considerably less now that she's actually doing it. She used to absolutely hate nonfiction books when she was a kid, but now that she's older and can pick what she reads, she likes biographies a lot, they're insightful

1) Tecna

Easily the most confident. Tecna knows herself and her skills perfectly, and is extremely aware of what she can and can't do. Girl will make plans people think are insane and then execute them. Even when shes out of her depth shes not like "Oh no i dont know what I can do!" She just picks something and goes with it. I love her

2) Aisha

She's interesting because, like, a lot of her confidence in s2 feels like momentum, and the molment her momentum stops she's crying. She is incredibly insecure in s2, but she's fully like "yeah I can break into Darkar's palace and save the pixies", while she gets really freaked out on her own, and she tries to show up and put down the specialists when she meets them to look cool. She has a lot of confidence in her abilties, but less in herself. In s3, that momentum turns into real confidence her her ability to role with the punches, and she carries a vibe that she might not know what she's doing, but she can handle it

3) Stella

Our princess is really hard for me to place tbh. On one hand, she's absolutely brimming with confidence. The show basically exists bc Stella ran into Bloom, and said fuck it, sneaking her into school. She is also seemingly the most confident in her magic and in fights. Stella gets away with A LOT through sheer audacity alone. On the other hand, Stella seems to think that her main redeeming quality is her looks and her abilities as a fairy. She really doesn't like herself, but she covers this up with overconfidence?? There is a deep well of self hate in Stella, that she is very dedicated into turning into a joke or pretending doesn't exist!!! Do not ask her about her relationship with her mom!!!!!

4) Flora

She's also werid, because like her level of self-confidence issues are normal? She's worried she's not strong enough to save the flower of life? Nomral. She's worried about confessing to a boy? Nomral! She only really starts being "the insecure one" in later seasons, especially s5, but early on, she's otherwise nomral. She's not insanely overconfident nor extremely insecure. She does come off as people pleaser, but that doesn't have to be a lack of confidence. It can also be like that she's been expected to be mature and a mediator her whole life and not insecurity

5) Musa

She thought Riven was cute in s1. That's it, I don't need to say anything else. Jokes aside, Musa's need to always be sarcastic in early seasons is dripping with insecurity, and in s2, it's very clear she has straight-up abandonment issues. She also, in s1, kinda never suggests plans of action? She just waits to see what someone else does, then makes a joke about it. Idk what to tell yall. No one who has a sense of self-worth would crash out THAT hard because a guy who you had a crush on, that didn't like you, started dating someone else. WHAT is her problem???

6) Bloom

I'm gonna write this with the canon ships in mind

Bloom: She dreamed of fairies, and princesses, and magic growing up; she absolutely wants that fairy tale proposal and wedding. Stella would refuse to let Sky plan his own proposal, don't mention the movies to me that was bad, Stella would find a nice huge walkable garden, Sky would ask for help packing a picnic because let's be real, Princey would panic because he didn't have to think about that before. It would be cute and dorky because their both awkward as hell and I cannot see either of them making it though this without stuttering and cutting each other off. As for the wedding Erakylon as a whole as put her off of a princess wedding, but she was hoping Domino would be different, and it is but it still sucks and is awkward. A bunch of people she doesn't know, in situations she's not used to, making her use skills she just learned, all while being idolized. Its not the worst thing ever but it makes Bloom's Daphne Domino based imposter syndrome flare up. Bloom is sad and Sky is like "Well, we didn't have an earth ceremony with your extended earth family" and she perks up instantly. Stella, barely being held back by Flora, take care of the preparations to make up from the Domino one. Aisha reframes from saying I told you so about the Domino wedding for years, still says it though

Stella: I think Stella would text Brandon a long list of specifications for her dream proposal. It is long, there are fireworks, they rented a private beach. She's too dramatic to not. All the girls are there, because, firstly, Stella wants to squeal with her friends, secondly, she wants the whole thing recorded and its easy to talk Tecna or Riven into doing that. As for the wedding, its the biggest thing since Bloom's coronation. Stella's wedding was already going to be huge but she's still mad about Cassandra running her ball and she's making this everyone else's problem. Invites everyone she knows and likes, and a few people she doesn't to rub her happiness in their face, because she's petty. The wedding planner is so stressed, how many things do you want. Meanwhile, Brandon who just choreographed the perfect proposal, and has been with Stella for years, takes over half of the burden from the weeding planner. He knows Stella's tastes and moods and has been the personal servant of a Royal for years, he knows what he's doing. The wedding is the event of the year and Stella couldn't be happier

Flora: I imagine both Flora and Helia are romantics, so they'd probably do some "vacation in a beach town, and I purpose to you after personally rowing us out to the middle of a lake for a gorgeous view" ass shit. Like picturesque proposal. Helia gets to be a little smug about how amazing his proposal was, as a treat. As for the wedding, while I haven't really thought about what they'd be, I think they'd be the only ones who are torn with which one of their cultures wedding ceremonies they want to go with. (Tecna doesn't care so its Timmy's planet, Riven doesn't have much his planet at all anymore so Musa's, and Bloom and Stella are important political figures so), they compromise and try to blend traditions, Saladin and Flora's parents work with the couple to try to make both families happy. Their wedding nearly matches the size of the Royals just on sheer amount of family the two invited. Both Helia and Flora have big extended family they want at their wedding, and Flora is also down to invite distant friends. They have rich friends, they can have their huge dream wedding. The wedding is held in Linphea and the decorations are all plants, and is absolutely gorgeous

Tecna: I like to headcanon her as aromantic because I am and I related to her S1 statements so fucking hard. Pretending that hc doesn't exist, she wouldn't propose. Tecna struggles with her emotions and expressing them and a proposal is a lot so if her partner wants a marriage they're gonna have to propose to her. I think Timmy is the romantic type, he's also deeply nervous. What's going to either happen is that Timmy proposes to her in a private romantic setting, like when their alone on a vacation, cute dorky and very them, or Tecna would see Timmy wanting to propose to her and not doing it for a while and decide to do it herself. Tecna would be more dramatic than Timmy though because shed get the girls in on it, and which means Stella. Timmy likes it. As for a wedding neither of them like entertaining acquaintance and they're both introverts, so they have a small minimalist wedding that doesn't take forever because they both like to fidget. Also it wouldn't just be a wedding Tecna and Timmy would use it to force everyone to listen to their info dumping on there newest creations/ship and all the doors are locked

Musa: Musa is a huge romantic and would dream of being proposed too but she'd also dream of proposing. She's the only one that's more likely to propose rather than waiting for one, Musa is kinda impulsive and clingy when it comes to romance, see: all of s1, and while she grew out of some of that the rest of it led to her being openly a "go-getter" in her relationships lol. On top of this Riven has commitment issues and it takes him a while to get over stabbing her in the first movie. So Musa is definitely proposing, it isn't a big thing because Riven would hate that so much, so maybe wile stargazing on a road trip. Small and intimate. As for the wedding, Riven hates his family, and Musa barely gets along with hers, and the only people either of them would feel comfortable inviting is their friends, so its a very nontraditional wedding that devolves into a straight up party very quickly. Honestly the only reason they just didn't go to a court house is because Helia and Stella would actually kill them if they didn't have any celebration, oh and they like their friends
