Bog-wood Fuþorc Rune Readings
The Runes I use were imported from England and are made from Irish Bog Oak. Over the course of centuries and centuries, the wood turns black due to the preservative process of peat bogs. They are Anglo-Saxon or Fuþorc Rune carvings.
The Anglo-Saxons were members of Continental Germanic tribes that settled in England between the 5th century and the Norman Conquest.
They had their own Runic Poem consisting of 26 to 33 letters. In this poem, they outlined not only their alphabet but also the symbolic meaning of each of those letters. I use the first 29 letters, excluding later additions like Calc (Chalice), Gar (Spear), Cweorth (Fire), and Stan (Stone).
