Is this an unflattering picture? Absolutely! But I’m pretty proud of myself. I did my slowest 5k ever (I didn’t even time it) but I did it with a sprained ankle. (I think leaping for this picture was the most strenuous thing I did today and I had to make sure I landed on my good side!) I’m doing a lot right now between work and theatre stuff and getting my own life in order, but this morning felt great (the nap afterwards was even better). This was also the first race I’ve done since my diagnosis, and even though I was slow today I’m happy to see how much better I feel in general. Pretty good run today. I got a cramp in my left glut at about 1.5 miles. I started walking and stretching. Didn't want to actually pull something. After about a mile, I was able to start to jog a little walk a little. Eventually I got into a stride and finished 5.97 miles at 10:37 pace over all. Did a lot of post run stretching.
