Longish, contemplative post alert! 🚨 📷: @simonrphoto ! // What an action packed 24 hours it’s been! 9 mile run > RDC & Co. x @jaybirdsport Shakeout Run & party > Sleep > @on_running x @RunnersNeed #RunToSwitzerland with @tri_thedon Don > RunDem Sign-making // Morphing from a running crew runner invited for a run, food and party in conjunction with @jaybird, to an @englandathletics running-group leader and brand ambassador for the day - to a fan of @tim_thedon and fellow (rather less accomplished) endurance athlete 😆 - back to a London running-community member making signs for the London Marathon masses... to a newly qualified coach trying to help a few people in whatever way I can. And even though I wasn’t working, I can’t help but think as a marketer / community and events manager during all of it. // I’m at a stage where the answer to what I do with my life is... ‘running-related stuff.’ I wonder what I enjoy most, what I’m best at... where I can make the biggest difference, and the difference I’d like to make. I love to inspire, empower and somewhat entertain my running community and the running community as a whole to an extent, trying to get even more people hooked on the joys of running. // I feel really lucky to be so deeply enveloped in running culture. And after meeting thousands of runners over the years, it’s still awesome to meet more. To continue to be open to new friendships and to strengthen existing ones. To share new stories and continue to grow, to improve as a runner and a human. // What else can I do except go for another run! Then go to sleep, and wake up in time to catch @kipchogeeliud , @ben.ontherun , @gg11run , @jackwilliams_93 at #Mile21 and so many more of my friends that I hope to dish out a high-five and a shot of encouragement to as they shoot past me amongst the tens of thousands running the #LondonMarathon who I’ll cheer on as best I can! Good luck to everyone running! 😄 #rundemcrew #poweryourpassion
