There has been a massive push recently for “legitimate” merch and putting it on a platform and saying that you are a “real fan” for only buying “legal” merch.

EDIT: When I say “legitimate” merch I mean merch that has been licensed by the creators or made by the creators themselves. ie officially licensed collabs and official merch stores.

I’ve seen people say that they refuse to buy from artist alleys because they refuse to support “illegal” artists. I’ve seen people say they are going to report fan artists and fan fic writers etc because what they are doing is TECHNICALLY illegal.

It’s no surprise that in this age of hyper capitalism and corporate bootlicking, people are turning their backs on the backbone of fandom in order to appease a capitalist society.

Support fanworks, support artists and writers, support creativity.

FAQ Q1: where the fuck did you go? I thought you died

A: legally, I did. My death was faked and I was taken to this shitty place called "Oppidan Labs". if things go to plan, the whole world's gonna hear plenty about that lot soon enough. You know those movies where there's this evil corporation that collects and creates abominations? Apparently, those are real.

Q2: Where'd all your old posts go?

A: I deleted them. Partially to get a clean slate, partially because I do not need my new friends... situationship? seeing how cringe I used to be. also partially to aid in getting rid of my previous digital footprint for safety measures.

A: one-sided, i think, its only a situationship because of me being weird. I don't think either of them think of me like that. also who are you to ask? what, don't have your own partners so you gotta pry about mine? L

A: I wanted to. Especially since, apparently, all other social media has turned into complete slop since I was last online? Like it was starting to decline a bit before, but it really just slid into shit in the last decade. I just straight-up deleted my other socials once I saw... all that. bleh.

I have a rednote but I don't post there, purely just to scroll. and a youtube but again I just watch shit I don't post there

Does anyone think Komaeda, or moreover Servant, ever went into teacher mode or older brother mode with the Warriors of Hope? Like, trying to subtly sway them with stories of Hope and Despair? Or try to help guide them at all from the shadows? Yeah, the kids seemed to have control, but is that really the case? I don't know.

I think the idea of him taking a bit of a carer role beyond just snacks is a bit of a cute thought, even if it's in his own way. Telling them stories while getting drawn on or having stuff thrown at him. Doing his best to make sure they're safe, and when they aren't consoling them to a point, even when they get mad about it. Making sure they have snacks and eat and drink. Letting his Luck take the lead in giving him opportunities to slightly sway them, be it further into Despair to make way for an even brighter Hope, or towards Hope itself in such bleak times.
