This was so much harder than I thought it’d be. Lol anyway this is where my HTTY art has mostly been for the past 5 weeks, was it worth it? Nope but I’m learning to draw humans and Heather doesn’t look too bad so I’m calling it an improvement for later piece

I mostly chose this one cause I like the motif of Ryker striking out ahead of him unaware of his true threat pointing the way. I’ve said it before but I’d have loved more time with the dragon hunters whilst heather was spying, a centric episode would have been great for world building but I think Snowwraith does a pretty good job.

Ryker doesn't think he's seen Viggo look more angry at someone in his entire life, other than right now with the way his brother is looking at Stoick The Vast. Ryker has never seen him lose his composure this badly in front of anyone, Viggo is physically holding himself back from killing the other Chief.

Just walking in on whatever was currently going on, Ryker surveyed the scene in front of him to see if he could figure out what exactly had made his brother down right pissed. Viggo and Stoick where having a stare down both had their hands on their weapons as more of a warning. Though by the looks of things he wouldn't be surprised if things got violent, the thought shocked Ryker because Viggo preferred his words to his weapons. Hiccup was sitting on, surprisingly, Viggo's side of the table that was in-between the two chiefs, both of their chairs had been knocked to the ground. He had a look of pure shock mixed with relief maybe, Ryker wasn't sure, on his face as he stared down at the table. And that's when he saw it, sitting innocently in the middle of the table was a necklace, the chain looked new, obviously replaced, but the pendant was well worn. Ryker couldn't stop his eyes widening as he noticed that it was their tribe's symbol engraved onto the metal. It was a birth necklace, he realised with a growing horror as everything slowly clicked into place. It was tradition that every newborn got a necklace with their tribe's symbol, a way of protection, to help the child remember who home was.
