I can't get a screenshot (Netflix) of it but in episode 4 season 1 of RTTE ("When Darkness Falls") in the search of the island scene, toothless is flying by himself when hiccup jumps off the cliff onto his back.
From my knowledge this shouldn't be possible and may be an oversight as we've seen before that toothless can't even hover without hiccup in early show/pre HTTYD2. But it seems like a major animation oversight? I can see hiccup jumping onto Storm-fly and then meeting up with toothless elsewhere, but I think this was a "we have no budget and this scene is fun (it is) so lets just ignore it"

We moved past Astrid being shot with an arrow in RTTE way too fast for both my scientific and personal brains liking.
im thinking about maybe drawing the httyd cast as 5e dnd characters someday in the future! so far this is what I have:
Hiccup: drakewarden ranger OR battlesmith artificer?? i'm tending towards him being a ranger, but i can see him having multi-class in artificer, maybe even some paladin lvls too
Astrid: champion fighter. another option would be a battlemaster fighter, but i like the idea of her being a champion trying to become maybe a battlemaster. her temperament and battle decisions (one target at a time) makes me think of a champion more...
Snotlout: maybe unpopular opinion, but I think itd be cute if he was a valor bard! something about him having a journal of his own to recount the deeds of other people (like stoick and hiccup), while simultaneously wanting to be great, too. it fits with the stereotypes of bards always trying to get attention and trying to seduce everyone haha
Tuffnut: perhaps an open hands monk would be very interesting? it's a nice nod at tuff growing more violent/going berserk at times when tilted over the edge, but itd also reference his wise moments. a berserker barbarian would also fit!
Ruffnut: thief rogue due to everything we see her do in RTTE, but i could see her having some levels in bard as well? hmmm not sure, she could be very versatile
Fishlegs: land druid OR life cleric?? i think fishlegs is the most attuned with nature alongside hiccup, but i think he'd be the party's main healer too, considering canon
Heather: vengeance paladin, perhaps even becoming an oathbreaker. considering how deep into her vengeance she becomes, i think this would be a good nod at that. if not, perhaps she's be an eldritch knignt fighter or even a shadow monk?
Dagur: oh for sure, berserker barbarian. i think that's pretty self-explanatory lol
Ryker: death cleric would be so cool for him! the spell for divine strike could act as a nod for the dragon root poison, and i associate that a lot with ryker. i also like to imagine him enjoying confusing people in the battlefield, because most would imagine him as a fighter, berserker or paladin.
Viggo: i just loooooove the idea of him being a hexblade warlock OR a fiend warlock OR an undying warlock. what i know for sure is that he'd be, you guessed it, a warlock. maybe he has some levels in artificer, but i just can't imagine him as anything else due to his personality.
andddd i think this is all the ideas i have so far? a HTTYD campaign would be really cool imo... but i think I need some help deciding x) please let me know your thoughts or if you have any other ideas!
