I actually am pretty partial to reading Little Lamb Dragonfly as about John, and I see how they depict similar emotions, with Never Know feeling like it's the lead-up to the break and Little Lamb Dragonfly dealing with the aftermath ("Don't know why you hang around my door / I don't live here anymore").
"Dragonfly, the years ahead will show / How little we really know" <- there's something tragic about this line in this context. Personally, I'm not convinced there's a lot more clarity on what exactly caused John and Paul's fallout today, it's more that Paul has found a way towards acceptance. "I love you but I never know" could thus be read in a Here Today sense ("Never understood a word / But you were always there with a smile"). That song is specifically about coming to accept that you may never fully know someone but that doesn't erase your love for them.

Except that none of those visits resulted in the President visiting the UK, because that is simply not how it works and they do not have that kind of power. This is a diplomatic matter. It is about countries, not individuals. It is about Nigeria wanting to visit the UK and the UK wanting to receive Nigeria, for whatever diplomatic reasons apply, for the interests both sides have and because, in one way or another, it suits them.
That has absolutely nothing to do with Edward visiting or with Harry having visited at the time. Suggesting otherwise is, respectfully, a bit naive.
okay hmmm the next time I need a diversion from TYH maybe I switch back to finishing up my update to repeatable romance scenes. they would need a compatibility patch anyway so this way I could go ahead and build in native compatibility
the last time I patched RRS for kirkwallycule I set it to randomly choose from all applicable romances before randomly choosing from the scenes for that romance
since then ive made some amount of progress toward breaking out hard coded parts of the script into referencing m2das so it can be fully extended. when I last left off this just applied to the scenes themselves so modders could add more scenes for any of the included characters if they wanted. but ideally if it's feasible I'd also like to break the characters themselves out into an external spreadsheet so modders could add entirely other NPCs to the rotation
I'd also like to update the randomization so it will either rotate between characters and scenes or ensure that it plays all characters and all scenes before rerandomizing, so you don't end up with the same scene playing like 4-5 times in a row
if I do get full extensibility working I'll likely upload it with an optional module for tallis to demonstrate how modular extension works. not a whole lot of people modding DA2 but im fairly certain someone would like to use this to fuck meredith or orsino if given the opportunity. you're on your own getting the animations to line up with varric or the arishok tho ive paid my dues and done my time
