AH YES, the RPGMaker forums are gonna be shut down within the year (December 11th) and if not archived every single piece of information - from guides and tutorials, to plug-ins and very niche RPGMaker project between now and when the forums got started (14 whole YEARS of information) will be lost like the Library of Alexandria being burned to a blackened crisp.
And to show I am not talking outta my ass here, I have a link to the announcement right here.
Please, for anyone who takes a modicum of interest in this shitass blog, spread the word, archive EVERYTHING you damn well can. This important information resource means a lot for ANYONE trying to get their start in indie development. Without those plug-ins, its very likely a lot of the RPGMaker modifications you see out there wouldn't exist, and that doesn't even mention how communities like LISA, Space Funeral, Fear and Hunger and plenty more are affected by this, ESPECIALLY those communities that go on to make their own fan games and use that experience to eventually make their own indie games.

Flipside is our upcoming visually dense rpgmaker game. ive worked on many art assets, notably many character designs, talk portraits, and some of the several themed locals' many combatants (which you can see in #⃣dev-drops among everyone's art) we have some bizarre treats several years in the oven, and a nice early community base to join in that loves surreal games. we may periodically open but this is the first round!
