Glixel What could this strange digital world possibly be? Populated by peculiar beings called "Entities" and robots, it's up to you to explore their monochromatic realm. You will undoubtedly have some unusual encounters there — sometimes friendly, sometimes hostile, and sometimes... it's hard to tell. Glixel is a french game developed using #rpgmaker, probably the best of 2024 uploaded on indiexpo website. It is a demo only in french, but soon it will be also in english!

Production fail: the invisible barred windows 

 Near the beginning of the game, Felix and Noelia said that they cannot escape from the first floor windows, because they’re barred.

... well... I don’t know if anyone noticed, but in the first version of this map, where you can clearly see the summentioned windows, there were no bars.

(... and the windows on the right were also in the wrong position.)

This was, like, the second map I made for the game, and I probably thought something like “I’ll add the bars later!”.

I remembered it two months later.

The funny thing was that I used this map as thumbnail on RPG Maker Net, so... kinda embarassing... but well, now everything’s fine!

I wanted to test a tileset I made! I'm happy with how it looks but If anyone has any critique, feel free to share it! I’m always looking for ways to improve!

Hi there!

First of all, thank you so much for trying out my demo! We’re almost at 50 downloads, so I think I will draw something to celebrate, if we reach this target. Obv, my honest thanks also for the followers and notes. 

After a so much needed break (I worked on the game for all October and the first half of November, cough) I’m back to work!

Actually I would like to continue, because the demo cuts just before a wonderful scene (well, at least, it’s one of my favourites parts) buuut before everything, a little check up!

For now, I’m testing a few more scripts I would like to use (mostly to improve the graphics, but a couple are for some future puzzles). Like in the first screen, you can see Noelia shadow! In the second screen, instead, I was trying the “wiggly text”.

Regarding the letter, well... I’m also adding some little details to the first part. Who’s A.? Well, if you played the demo (DL!) and made a certain choice, you already know that. We talked about him during the crafting lab part~

How things are going here: 

1. Someone just remembered something important (!)

2. I don’t think I ever said that, but Gioele and Feli are actually besties

3. I love Abele’s room

4. Yes, this two are dating (Gioele and Abele, I mean... so yes, we have also a couple of queer characters).

The gothic library on the 3rd floor

Hello! Sorry, another video, but I like this map so much that i wanted to show it complete, with music and effects  ♥

Not too spoiler, the map is huge and there are different areas, nooks and crannies to explore. (Also, gameplay. It’s not just a cozy reading space).

I’m a little undecided about the OST. Do you like this song? Or is it too dramatic?

(It’s one of those beautiful OST by Presence of Music.)

(As a side note, I made a little update for the italian version of the demo. Just a minor bug fix and a sound effects revamp. These bugs are absent in the english version, so I won’t update it... for now. Probably I’ll make an update soon, though, for the sound effects and other little things.).
