RuPaul's Drag Race UK S7E4 Recap (SPOILERS)
Below is the recap for "Sweety Darlings!ā, the fourth episode of the seventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK. Just so you know, there are spoilers below.
After Violaās elimination, the ten remaining queens return to the werkroom to read her mirror message. After itās wiped off by Nyongbella, Elle is a little devastated to have lost a friend in the competition, but admits that Bella did slay the lip-sync.
The queens sit on the couches and offer their congratulations to Bella and Bones. Bella wants to be perceived as a threat, whilst Paige is trying hard to not be reeling from the fact that she was so close to winning a RuPeter badge. Silllexa is the only queen to be consistently safe so far, for which she is grateful, but she does want to be seen. As they de-drag to end the day, Paige wants to up the ante.
RuPaul announces that the special guest judge is actress Jane Horrocks, who is best known for portraying the ditzy assistant Bubble on the iconic television show Absolutely Fabulous. Jane will be judging alongside Ru, Michelle, and Alan Carr.
Usually shortened to Ab Fab by its fans, the show premiered on BBC2 in Nov. 1992 before being picked up by BBC One in Jan. 1994 and continuing itās on-and-off run with specials on there until 2012, with a finale film in 2016. The whole five-season, 32-episode run of the show, along with two Christmas specials (2002 and 2004), is available to watch on WOWP+.
The next day, as the queens settle in, Silllexa is ready for the next challenge and wants to shine. After all the queens congratulate Bones again on her win, Silllexa wants to know what accent sheāll bring out in the upcoming challenge. Paige wants to know if Tayris and Catrin fancy each other. They both are being coy with the question. Silllexa and Sally are not feeling the love in the air. As Chai stays focused on the Ā£25k cash prize, the alarm rings.
In her next RuMail, RuPaul says that everyone has one good book inside them. She then wonders how they get it out. Ru then walks into the werkroom and concludes that thereās one thing that Brits canāt get enough of and that is naughty novels. She then issues the maxi-challenge in which the queens will star in āMuthatuckersā, a three-episode TV series set in the world of 1980s erotic fiction. As last weekās maxi-challenge winner, Bones gets to decide the groupings.
Bones named herself, Elle, Silllexa, and Paige as the first group. She then split the others down the middle of where they stood in line. This meant that Bonnie, Tayris and Sally would be the second group, and that Chai, Catrin, and Bella would be the third and final group. Ru then slotted the groups as such below:
Bonesā group would star in episode #1, āPlucky Bitchesā.
Bonnieās group would star in episode #2, āTucky Bitchesā.
Bellaās group would star in episode #3, āMucky Bitchesā.
Ru allows each group to determine the roles within each episode themselves. She announces that theyāll shoot the episodes with Michelle in the directorās chair. Ru announces the guest judge above. In honor of Horrocksā role of Bubble, the category for the runway show will be āAb Fab: The Night of a Thousand Sweety Darlingsā, hence this episodeās title.
Ru leaves and each of the groups has a pow-wow. The āTucky Bitchesā group believes that Bones had a strategy when she made the groups, and they immediately ask her how she made them. After she responds and a bit of banter back-and-forward, the groups read their respective scripts and assign the roles therein. They wish each other good luck before being directed to the green-screen set to film their episodes. We find out that each of the episodes has a mystery guest star that ties the series together.
The paragraph below contains mentions of drug abuse and sexual abuse. If you want to skip it, I donāt blame you. On the episode on WOWP+, the rough part of the segment starts at 23:25 and you can skip to 26:20.
The next day, as the queens get ready, we find out more about Tayris and her family, with whom she has pictures of. This is where we discover that her mom had struggles with mental health and substance abuse/addiction. It was to the point of Tayris and her sister being put into the care system. While in there at the age of six, Tayris experienced molestation at the hands of her carer. As a result of the sexual abuse, her father stepped in to move the three siblings in with him and he has become Tayrisā ārockā. Sally hugs Tayris and confesses that she admires the way she handled herself during those tough times.
RuPaul walks out onto the runway and introduces the judges above. She also details the maxi-challenge and the runway show above. The runway show is done first, followed by a showcase of the final cut of the three-episode run of āMuthatuckersā. The roles were thus:
In āPlucky Bitchesā:
- Paige was Lotta-Rides, the author of "Wide and Sassy" - Elle was Jilly Copa-Feel, a fan of (and rival of) Lotta-Rides - Silllexa & Bones (initially) were Purity & Chastity Nubbins, twin protestors.
In āTucky Bitchesā:
- Bonnie was Lotta-Rides, who is now an actress - Tayris was Jilly Copa-Feel, who is still Lotta's rival - Sally was Tony Ballsinhands, a sleazy movie director
In āMucky Bitchesā:
- Catrin was Lotta-Rides, who now runs a horse stable - Chai was Jilly Copa-Feel, who is still Lotta's rival - Bella was Clip-Clop, a horse gimp at Lotta's horse stable
The "mystery guest star" was Alan Carr playing the roles of Roger Dick Willie (in "Plucky"), Jack Trousersnake (in "Tucky"), and "The Stallion" (in "Mucky"), all of which were inspired by Italian model Fabio Lanzoni.
After the showcase, Ru calls upon Paige, Elle, Bones, and Tayris to declare them safe to slay another day and then dismisses them to the werkroom. The other six are the tops and bottoms of the week. After those queens get their critiques, they are also then dismissed.
After the judges' deliberations, the queens are brought back out. RuPaul declares Sally safe, then announces Bonnie as the winner of the maxi-challenge. Bonnie is also the fourth recipient of a coveted RuPeter badge.
After Catrin is declared safe, Ru puts Bella up for elimination and declares Chai safe. This leaves Silllexa to also be put up for elimination. Sillexa and Bella lip-sync for their lives to "Pearls" by Jessie Ware, which was released in 2023.
After the lip-sync, Ru declares that Silllexa can stay, while Bella has to sashay away. There are nine queens left.
RuPaul's Drag Race UK S7E3 Recap (SPOILERS)
Below is the recap for "Battle of the Brats", the third episode of the seventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK. Just so you know, there are spoilers below.
After Pasty's elimination, the eleven remaining queens return to the werkroom to read her short mirror message. As it's wiped off by Viola, the queens moo in Pastyās honor before walking onto the couches. Viola is amazed at winning the lip-sync, which she thought she'd never do.
The queens congratulate Sally on her badge. After asking how the queens felt about their looks, Silllexa confesses that she hated what she did. Bones took her almost-win as inspiration to not be safe anymore. Viola and Bonnie have a playful argument about Viola allegedly not helping anyone. Viola gets a pick-me-up from the other queens, then they all de-drag to end the day.
RuPaul announces that the extra special guest judge for the episode is (Northern) Irish singer Nadine Coyle, who is best known as a member of the iconic girl group Girls Aloud, along with having a solo career of her own. She'll be judging alongside Ru, Michelle, and Graham.
The next day, Nyongbella is putting her best foot forward as the queens settle in. After Elle congratulates Sally on her win, Paige tells Elle that she is watching out for Elle. This is mainly on the account of Paige being impressed by her. As Paige's jealousy is about to boil over, the alarm rings. In her next RuMail, RuPaul advises the queens to not be a brat, just be a queen, and they might just be the next big thing.
Ru then walks into the werkroom to issue the girl group maxi-challenge, in which they'll be split into two groups of five and six to perform the latest hyper-pop bop, "She Ate That". Each queen will write her own verse, then each group will come up with its own chaotic choreography.
Sally (since she won last week's maxi-challenge) and Viola (since she survived last week's lip-sync) are appointed as the group captains and will choose the groups. Sally chooses Bones, Silllexa, Chai, and Elle. Viola chooses Paige, Tayris, Bonnie, and Nyongbella. As the last queen, Catrin chose to join with Viola's group, to the latterās chagrin. RuPaul then tells the queens that they'll record their verses with the guest judge above.
The groups then head off on their own to listen to "She Ate That", which is a hit with them. They then discuss what each member brings to the table. Nyongbella wants to name their group "Nyongbella and the Girls", but that is quickly shot down for Paige's idea of F@llen Ang3lz (pronounced "fallen angels"). Sally has two ideas for her group's name: The Squirt Girls or Toothy Blowjobs. Silllexa submits Hotline, and Elle adds an "X" on the end for Sally's group being finalized as Hotline X.
After brainstorming and writing down lyrics, Bones and Paige have a staredown with their choreography. Then the groups meet up with Nadine and producer Ian Masterson on the main stage to record them. Later, the groups fine-tune their choreography while the other group watches. Nyongbella has a bit of a struggle with her recording. Paige confesses that while they were really close back in the day, Bones wasn't a dancer, but she admits that they both learned from each other as far as choreography is concerned.
The next day, the groups come in to finalize the looks they'll be wearing for the performances of "She Ate That". After a tense yet playful argument concerning the choreography, they get ready for the day ahead. Tayris and Catrin have gotten really close, and they both confess their feelings for each other. They both ask each other if the other is single, which they answer in the affirmative. They decide to play it by ear, though, and will wait things out.
RuPaul walks out onto the main stage and introduces the judges above. After that, she announces that the category for the runway show is "Cuddly Wuddly". The groups perform first, then each queen showcases their "Cuddly Wuddly" look.
After the runway show, RuPaul admits that both groups were great in the challenge, so the judges will have to do some nitpicking. She tells them they'll be judged individually. Ru then calls upon Bonnie, Catrin, Tayris, Sally, and Silllexa to declare them safe to slay another day and dismisses them. The other six are the tops and bottoms of the week. After those queens receive their critiques, they are also then dismissed.
After the judges' deliberations, the queens are brought back out. Ru declares Elle safe to slay another day, then declares Bones the winner of the maxi-challenge and the third recipient of a coveted RuPeter badge. Ru then puts Viola and Nyongbella up for elimination, thus leaving Chai to be declared safe. Nyongbella and Viola lip-sync for their lives to "Sound of the Underground" by Girls Aloud. After the lip-sync, Ru declares Nyongbella can stay, whilst Viola has to sashay away. There are ten queens left.
RuPaulās Drag Race UK S7E2 Recap (SPOILERS)
Below is the recap for āRumble in the Jumbleā, the second episode of the seventh season of RuPaulās Drag Race UK. Just so you know, there are spoilers below.
After the non-elimination, Pasty has her very own Lucky Cow sash. The only queen perhaps not feeling the excitement in the air is Viola, who just wants the competition to get started. The queens then celebrate Elle's win. The question is then asked about who voted for whom in the Lucky Cow proceedings. Pasty moos and then the queens de-drag to end the day. RuPaul announces that the guest judge for the episode is Michelle de Swarte, a former model who is now a comedian, presenter, and actress. She'll be judging alongside Ru, Michelle Visage, and Graham Norton.
The next day, after the queens settle in, Elle implies that her one badge won't be the only one she'll get. Nyongbella is asked how she's feeling after surviving the first lip-sync of the season. She responds that every diva has her down days, but that she is ready for the next challenge. After Viola shares her thoughts, the alarm rings. In the subsequent RuMail, Ru tells the girls that in this chiconomy, you've got to either reuse it or lose it. Ru comes in and declares the Lucky Cow dead, meaning no more second chances for these queens.
Ru then wants to hear from the queens, but first calls on the Brit Crew. Instead, a black hooded figure shuffles into the werkroom to the queens' concerns. The hooded figure is revealed to be RPDR S2 alum and makeup artist Raven. Ru next introduces the mini-challenge entitled "The Taintors" and gives the queens ten minutes to get into quick taintor drag. After the ten minutes have elapsed, the queens are given chalk and chalkboards with which they'll vote on which queen they believe is the best match for various categories that Ru announces. After the votes have been tallied for each category, Raven hands out shields to the winner of said category. Here's how the voting went:
Pasty got both "Most Distasteful" and "Most Fateful"
Bones got "Most Beautiful"
Viola got "Most Painful"
Elle got "Most Delightful"
Raven leaves, and Ru then asks the queens if they're ready for a rumble in the jumble, hence the episode title. Ru announces that for this week's maxi-challenge, they're holding a jumble sale. In the maxi-challenge, each queen is tasked with creating an original fashion statement using leftovers from all the past seasons of RPDRUK. Since she was voted "Most Fateful" by her fellow queens, Pasty got the advantage of assigning two queens to the six stalls that represent each season. Here's how she did so:
She assigned Nyongbella and Tayris to Season 1
Bonnie and Elle to Season 2
Silllexa and Bones to Season 3
Herself (Pasty) and Catrin to Season 4
Chai and Sally to Season 5
Viola and Paige were left with Season 6
Ru reminds the queens that this is an individual challenge and permits them to use their own wigs, accessories, and undergarments. However, the rest of their outfits have to be upcycled from the stalls they were assigned. She then lets the queens loose to start the maxi-challenge. The queens go through their assigned stalls and start to draw up some ideas. After a while, Ru comes back into the werkroom for consultations, which were done in the assigned pairings above. After the consultations, Catrin and Viola share a tenuous moment, then hug it out to end the day.
The next day, as the queens finish up their outfits and get ready for the day, Paige is concerned that Viola has taken on more than she can chew, whilst Viola and Silllexa are concerned for Bonnie and Pasty. Ru walks onto the runway and introduces the judges above, then, as the runway show begins, she announces that the category is "Rumble in the Jumble Eleganza".
After the runway show, Ru calls upon Silllexa, Elle, Tayris, Nyongbella, Paige, and Chai to declare them safe to slay another day and dismisses them to the werkroom. The other six queens are the tops and bottoms of the week. After those queens get their critiques, they are then also dismissed.
After the judges' deliberations, the queens are brought back out. Ru declares Catrin and Bones safe to slay another day, then declares Sally the winner of the maxi-challenge and the second recipient of a coveted RuPeter badge. Ru then immediately puts Viola and then slightly later, Pasty, up for elimination. This leaves Bonnie to be declared safe. Viola and Pasty lip-sync for their lives to "Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer)" by The Freemasons feat. Sophie Ellis-Bextor. After such, Ru declares that Viola can stay, while Pasty must become the Pork Chop of the season and sashay away. There are eleven queens left.
RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 7 Premiere Recap (SPOILERS)
Below is the recap for "Queens of the Brit Gala", the premiere episode of the seventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK. Just so you know, there are spoilers below.
The premiere begins with the crowning of the six previous winners, played in reverse order (S6, then S5, and so on). When it came to The Vivienne's crowning, it was more of a longer tribute to her, since she had unfortunately passed away earlier this year. Rest in peace, Viv. We love you so much.
RuPaul then announces that the winner of UK7 will receive a cash prize of £25,000 (~US$33,341 as of September 25th, 2025). She then announces that the special guest judge for the premiere will be comedian Joel Dommett. He is best known as the presenter of the UK's version of The Masked Singer. Joel will be judging alongside RuPaul, Michelle, and Alan Carr.
The werkroom lights up and by order of werkroom entrance, below is a list of the twelve queens vying to become the the United Kingdom's next Drag Race superstar:
Catrin Feelings, 26, Cardiff (bwo Rhondda Valley, Wales)
Tayris Mongardi, 27, Brighton
Sallyā¢, 27, South Shields (bwo Newcastle)
Silllexa Diction, 26, Leeds
Pasty, 30, East London (bwo Cornwall)
Nyongbella, 25, London
Paige Three, 28, Surrey (bwo London)
Elle Vosque, 22, Belfast
Viola, 22, Manchester (bwo Coventry)
Chai T Grande, 32, London
Bonnie Ann Clyde, 30, Manchester (bwo Dublin, Ireland)
Bones, 25, London (bwo Manchester)
RuPaul comes into the werkroom for the first time and welcomes the queens into the competition. She then calls on the Pit Crew member, who has brought in glasses of prosecco. RuPaul then toasts to the queens.
She next issues the mini-challenge in which she invites the queens to attend the star-studded Brit Gala. Within the Brit Gala, each queen is tasked with presenting a signature drag look on the pink carpet. Next, they will answer thirsty questions from the hungry pack of VIQs (Very Important Queens). These VIQs are Baga Chipz (UK1), Plane Jane (US16), Tessa Testicle (Germany and Global All Stars), Angeria Paris VanMicheals (US14 and US AS9 winner), and Marina Summers (PH1 and UKvTW2). Each queen will then pose for the "slay-mo" camera.
After all the posing, walking, and question-answering, RuPaul announces that the runway category is "Queen of Your Hometown". She then announces that one queen will go home unless they hear a moo sound. The queens then return to the werkroom, retrieve their bags, and de-drag. As they de-drag, discussions are had about the Brit Gala, missing home, and Nyongbella's trans representation.
The next day, as they get ready, Bonnie and Elle compare and contrast the Irish and British drag scenes, Nyongbella talks about her upbringing, and other queens discuss the moo sound. RuPaul walks out onto the main stage and introduces the judges above, and then the queens do the "Queen of Your Hometown" runway show.
RuPaul calls on Catrin, Paige, and Elle to tell them they're the top three queens. She then calls on Nyongbella, Pasty, and Tayris to tell them that they're the bottom three queens. This means the other six queens are safe to slay another day.
After the top and bottom queens receive their critiques, RuPaul announces this season's twist in which the non-bottom queens will hold a secret vote to award a Lucky Cow statue to the bottom queen whom they think should be saved from elimination. RuPaul will not reveal who has the lucky cow until after each week's lip-sync. The queens are then dismissed to the werkroom for the Untucked portion. This is where, for the first time this season, the queens put their votes in the Lucky Cow, Survivor-style.
After the judges' deliberations, the queens are brought back out. RuPaul tells Paige she is safe to slay another day. She then announces that Elle is the winner of the maxi-challenge and the first recipient of a coveted RuBadge. Next, Catrin and Tayris are declared safe.
This meant that Nyongbella and Pasty would have to lip-sync for their lives to "Von Dutch" by Charli XCX. After the lip-sync, RuPaul tells Nyongbella she is safe to slay another day. Fortunately for Pasty, she was the Lucky Cow, which means there are still twelve queens left.

RuPaul's Drag Race UK S6 Finale Recap (MAJOR SPOILERS)
Below is the recap for the sixth season finale of RuPaul's Drag Race UK. Just so you know, there are major spoilers below. You have been warned.
To recap, the top four queens are as follows:
Kyran Thrax, age 26, from London (bwo Lancashire)
La Voix, age 43, from Stockton-on-Tees, England
Marmalade, age 24, from Cardiff, Wales
Rileasa Slaves, age 32, from London (bwo St. Lucia)
RuPaul condragulated the queens on making it into the grand finale. She then announced that for the final maxi-challenge, they needed to put their own comedic spin on the song entitled "A Different Winner's Story" in an all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza for the crown.
For the challenge, each of the top four queens wrote their own verses and fine-tuned their choreography with Aaron Renfree. Renfree has worked in movies such as Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and on the British version of the dancing reality competition show The Masked Dancer. In between the writing and the rehearsals, each queen also sat down for an interview with Ru and Michelle.
The next day, before the challenge, Season 5 winner Ginger Johnson came back into the werkroom to relay her experience of being in the finale, to wring more gossip from the top four, and to let them know that they can reach out to any of their RPDRUK sisters throughout all the seasons.
There was no special guest judge. Therefore, the judging panel for the performance and the subsequent "Grand Finale Extravaganza" runway show was comprised of RuPaul, Michelle, Graham, and Alan. All the eliminated queens from S6 came back out to help with the finale of the "A Different Winner's Story" performance.
After all the S6 queens showcased their looks for the runway show, the top four received their final critiques. RuPaul then brought out the childhood photos and asked each of them what they would say to their younger selves. After she dismissed the top four, all the S6 queens got to vote on who this season's Miss Congeniality would be. That wound up being Charra Tea.
RuPaul called on Rileasa and Marmalade to tell them to sashay away and join the other queens. That meant that La Voix and Kyran were the top two queens and would be lip-synching for the crown. The final lip-sync song was "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen. After the lip-sync, Ginger was brought back out to hand over the crown and scepter to the winner of S6 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, which ended up being Kyran Thrax.
This concludes the season.
Kyran absolutely should have been in the bottom, but they didn't want Rileasa to destroy her in the lipsync.
