The sun had set for the day, paving way for the full moon. An alluring darkness had spread over the beach, only disturbed by the tiny blaze from the few campfires that had been set up only a couple hours earlier. It seemed that many of the festival goers had the same idea of going to watch the stars after they’d had their fill of fun-and who could blame them? Few things were as memorizing as a moonlit beach. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day of activity.
Naturally, Celica had dragged Blake to sit down for a while, resting up before they broke for the day and returned to their respective apartments. It was as the magician's insistence that the huntress accompany her for the day-after their nasty incident only a few weeks ago, Celica wanted to give Blake a chance to unwind and have some fun, even if she wasn’t sure on whether the faunus was big on huge celebrations. She insisted on paying for everything of course, which led to some minor arguments between the pair throughout the day-if one thing was for sure, it was that both were incredibly stubborn about treating the other and making sure they were taken care of.
Celica laid out the large towel she’d brought with her and sat down, stretching her arms out to bask in the warmth of the fire and turning her head up to look at the moon, letting out a small gasp as though she’d seen it for the first time and was captivated by how beautiful it looked.
“It’s so pretty, don’t you think, Blake?”
Celica turned to face her companion, patting a spot right next to her on the towel to indicate to Blake that she wanted her to sit down with her and enjoy the view. They’d been close to one another the entire day, but the magician found she could never grow weary of the faunus’s company.
