“Ah, the lovely Mrs Greyback. Lady Wolf,” Albert gave her a knowing smirk, “To what do I owe the pleasure?”

He glanced down at his own blood-covered hands, then back up at her. He chuckled and wiped the gunk off on the front of his jacket.

“Ah, would you look at that. I’m a mess,” he murmured.

He waved off his bodyguard who was hovering over his shoulder; he could handle himself.

“I’m fairly certain it wasn’t one of your pack I killed this time. If it was, I do so apologise,” he said, his voice dripping with faux concern.
