Roy sleeps hugging his pillow if he's sleeping alone.

He steals a piece of clothing from you and wears it to bed every night you're not there. When it doesn't smell like you anymore he returns it for another, adoring the comfort of your scent. (When you aren't living together)

He also adores when you wear his clothing. Especially when you live together and he comes home to you in his clothes. Bonus points if it's his uniform jacket, for some reason seeing it on you thrills him.

His hair is rather messy for a military man, however it's pretty neat for work since he gels it. When he's out of the shower and towel dries it, it turns a bit curly and fluffy. He gets embarrassed when you play with it and shrugs you off, but deep down he loves it.

He constantly worries about Edward and Alphonse, especially after the passing of Hughes. When they travel, he can't help but think about them all day, as if they were his little brothers, or even his children. He'll never admit it but he truly cares for those two, and would stop everything to help them. This is confirmed when he got angry at Edward for not asking for his help in Brotherhood.

He talks to you about this sometimes, and you always comfort him, reassuring that they'll be okay. He doesn't like to talk about his feelings or what's bothering him most of the time, but lighter, less heavy topics like this feel less burdening to mention.

He has nightmares about the war still, and you have to wake him up to stop his thrashing. Sometimes Hughes' name pops up too. You usually have to hold him and reassure that he's all right, and that you're all right.

He's always insecure about what he's done and constantly asks if you're sure you want to be with him. He asks if he's a monster and constantly questions why you love him. You always reassure him but he still has that guilt, that insecurity that he's this evil monster weapon that doesn't deserve you.

At times like that he tries to back away from you, but you always come to him and gently wrap your arms around him, telling him how you feel. He usually ends up breaking down, and you never mention that he's crying. He hates crying, and you know that. So you never acknowledge it, you only comfort him.

In the end you usually give him one of your sweaters and hold him to sleep, letting him rest his head on your chest. He falls asleep faster when you pet his hair, and always wraps his arms around your waist for reassurance that you're there.

If he ever has nightmares like this when you're not home he unfortunately pents up his feelings. But as soon as you get home he loses it and hugs you tightly, and you let him.

When you're working or are busy with something at home and he isn't, he makes sure to hug you from behind and bother you, wanting to be near you during all of his free time. Eventually, he settles for sitting next to you, resting his chin on your shoulder as he watches you finish up. If it'll be a while he stays in the same room as you, doing his own thing.

He does that stupid man thing (listen, I do it too-) where he comes behind you and pretends to punch you, making sound effects to bother you when he's bored. You usually sigh and let him, enjoying his non-serious side.
