I think from this new Apple TV promo for the show I saw on IG and the moment of Keeley in her suit and tie from the trailer, this takes place during a press conference/shareholderβs meeting. Keeley is leading it and she definitely looks nervous and Ted is pushing Roy back. My guess is some asshole is harassing Keeley and Ted is stopping him from hurting him or maybe Keeley is having some kind of anxiety, and Ted may have taught her how to calm herself and got Roy to ease himself back.

I did not care for Roykeeley or Jamiekeeley.
The Roy and Ted hug in the trailer makes me hopeful that Roy has been attending his therapy in the past few years and has developed his emotions a little better or else I'm not going to have the patience to stand the inevitable RK this season. Keeley too, therapy for the both of them, then we see if they can make it together rather than them just being fated to be together because thats what the audience expects to happen.

I think Roy smiling, telling Ted heβs happy to see him, and going in for a hug is actually like. Huge, and itβs very promising to me because with the knowledge that thereβs a timeskip of βa few yearsβ (I would guess 2-3, so like the beginning of the 2025 season), it would be really aggravating if we picked up all of the characters right where we left them you know? And the same goes for Keeley, I think her CSA trauma impacted her more than was explored and her coping mechanisms/behavior were unhealthy too
Like I keep saying, I donβt HATE Roykeeley, I just didnβt think it was well-executed past a certain point, so I could definitely be sold on them again. I was a diehard RK up until season 3 so Iβm just holding out hope theyβll be able to like. Bring back what I saw in them in Lavender. Because pre-headspace they were genuinely my skrunklies :(
