Hi there!!! Do you have by any chance any favorite rarepairs and any headcanons about them?? I'm a wolfstar lover at heart but I've been obsessed with a few other ships for a while now (COUGH COUGHwaterlily sunrose and emmary-) and I'd like to see what pairs you like and have hcs about :))))
Ooh, I'm so glad you asked, I have so manyyy:
1. Lily x Charity (Lility/Virtueflower): In my head they're farm girls and it's enemies to lovers with a lot of tension especially on Charity's part.
2. Lily x Barty (Bartylily/Flowerkiller): It frustrates Lily that Barty is so academically gifted without giving it any effort. He'd be her sexual awakening and their relationship would be so secret and intense and Lily would take to the grave.
3. Peter x Gilderoy (Gilderat): Started off as a crack ship but it's lowkey kinda cute to me. Gilderoy would always be very charming in front of people and Peter would make it his personal mission to troll/ragebait him to the point that he loses his cool BUT during this process they fall in love cuz ofc they do hehe.
4. Peter x Sybil (Pebill/Seertail): Sybil is the og weird girl and has barely ever had friends let alone be liked by someone romantically but Peter thinks she's the most intriguing person he has ever met and is genuinely in awe of her. Also, them dating leads to her becoming friends with the Marauders and the Valkyries and they protect her like their lives depend on it.
5. Emmeline x Mary (Emmary/Saintraven): Besties in the very beginning but have a falling out when they realise they like each other, as teens they're in polar opposites social circles and seem like strangers but secretly pine for each other all the time.
6. Regulus x Barty (Bartylus/Starkiller): This is a relatively popular ship but thought I'd mention it still. They'd definitely be each other's first kiss, first friend, first time, etc. which is why they have a very intimate understanding of each other even as friends. They'd be a thing for a while but never label it as anything.
7. Regulus x Wilhelm (Reghelm/Regalstar): Wilhelm would be Reg's first real boyfriend, since him and Barty were never really "official". They would be a very healthy and cutesy couple but Wil would break things off when he realises that Reg is clearly pining after James and he just wants Reg to be happy.
8. Wilhelm x Hestia (Regalfire/Royaltea): This is hella niche and definitely a ship that I made up all on my own but I adore these two, I think they would be the most sunshine couple ever. Slytherin x Hufflepuff, popular guy x nerdy girl except she's super confident in everything about herself while he's kinda shy and awkward.
There are a lot more rarepairs that I would love to talk about (Novelpoet, Spyflower, Dawnbolt, etc.) but they're the ones that are either very niche or I don't have any specific hcs for them, just ship em based on vibes lol. Also, I'm not sure if you'd count the older gen ships (Nobleflower, Quillkiller, etc.) as rarepairs since they're relatively popular.
