Restrained, your character is forced to watch mine tortured in front of them. How does this affect them?

"A?!" 

Jack's head snapped up, looking around wildly in he darkness. He tried to stand up, only to fall back against the wall, finding his wrists and ankles chained to the stone. 

"No..no no no! A!" He yelled, struggling to move against his restraints. His right hand clenched together, looking for the comfort of his staff, and the panic already flaring in his system intensified. I don't have my staff. I don't know where we are. And someone is hurting her.

Jack is absolutely terrified of hurting A. 

To him, she is like a sister. He cares about her a lot, and before his darkness surfaced, they'd mess around as much as they could together, working with one another to prank the Guardians and basically, be absolute little shits. 

Starters

["I miss you."]

Jack turned away from the lights in the sky, sinking deeper into the cave he'd holed himself up in this time. He could still here her voice, echoing in his ears, or was it just the cave walls themselves? He couldn't tell anymore.

He missed her too, but he couldn't leave, he couldn't go and see her. Oh no, not when he was like this. He still didn't forgive himself for hurting her as much as he'd done...

"I'm sorry, A..." He whispered into the wind, sure it would carry his words back to her. "I miss you too..."

["I trust you."]

Jack threw his hands over his ears, wanting desperately for the roaring of blood within them to stop.

How could she trust him? She shouldn't trust him! She just shouldn't! He was a danger to her, he'd already hurt her once! How in heck did she still have faith in him that she'd be safe around him? She wouldn't!

Jack stood behind said tree, biting down on his bottom lip as pine needles caught and tore at his thin skin. He was holding the tree steady as little miss lights tried with all her might to plan the last few ornaments on the tree she insisted they aid in decorating up at the workshop.

Well, they kinda had to, seeing as it'd been them to knock it down in the first place. And they knew that if they wanted to keep their skins they better fix the mess before the big man sees it.

Jack snorted before concern won it's way over him, and he gently brought her hands up for inspection. He winced at the red skin that had been burned, but he managed to pull of a smile for her before gently starting to frost over the worse of the burns.

Jack woke to a face full of hair that was definitely not his, very confused and very sore. 

"Ugh...wha..?" He pushed himself up, accidentally knocking the girl's head to the side in the process. He grimaced before leaning over her to see if she'd awoken. 

Lucky for him, she hadn't, and he laughed, just beginning to remember the events that unfolded before they'd crashed in their current location.
