When Louise and Rudy are in their early twenties, Rudy briefly grows a beard. Louise hates it for many reasons, not least of which is that now she gets carded everywhere they go and he doesn't.

Since I already made a (mostly) canon-accurate family tree of the Belcher family, I decided to make one for my own NextGen OCs, specifically the new generation of Belchers.

Okay, so I'm thinking about the order we see folks dancing in the end credits of last night's episode.

It goes: Louise, Rudy, Gene, Jimmy Jr., Tina, Zeke, Susmita, Henry, Bob, Linda.

So, putting on my shipping goggles, I'm choosing to see this as:

Louise and Rudy dancing together

Jimmy Jr., Tina, and Zeke dancing together

Susmita and Henry dancing together

Bob and Linda dancing together.

After a band performance from her best friend's, Rudy's, band, Louise wouldn't stop ranting about the fame he might get. Not because she is -jealous- or whatever Millie and Jessica says, but mostly because she's mostly worried that his heart would get broken again…

There's nothing else to it! (There's definitely something else to it.)

no piece of media has ever made me feel as seen as bobs burgers s14 ep2, "The Amazing Rudy".

as someone with divorced parents, as 50% of children do, i wept to this episode. and i never NEVER thought i'd cry to a bob's burgers episode, but here we are

the fact that they showed the discomfort of meeting your divorced parents together, especially after they've remarried, made me feel seen in a way that i know my friends will never understand.

and the parallel between rudy's home and louise's home; this episode truly captured every canon event of the experience the average child of divorce has.

i'm just so glad rudy had someone like louise to make things easier for him. even though bob's burgers is a silly animated show about a family that owns a burger restaurant, this episode epitomised the experience of a child of divorce, at least in my opinion.
