StrangerVille - Ted Rossell still infected

Lord of Acres, Ted Rossell (65), is reportedly infected by a weird StrangerVille virus.

It’s been a while since I got the StrangerVille pack, and I must admit that I have not yet worked my way through the full story. I’m currently considering to add a version of it to the 3rd and upcoming season of the As Sims Go By video series. If so, you can be part of the adventure, and if not, I will probably check out the full mystery in a separate save, with some footage to share.

Ouch, that looks so painful! I’m enjoying my new addition, StrangerVille is cool to explore! My main focus in this world will be this infected guy and his wife. He is 3rd generation nobility as his mother’s father was bestowed Lord of Acres just about 100 years ago.

This is the only peerage in StrangerVille, and the family has been rather high on it. Residing Overlook does not help a bit. They own 4 of the 5 Shady Acres lots, the 5th was sold out of the family by Ted’s mother.

This peerage is low nobility and gender neutral, but that won’t help much unless Ted and Meredith has a baby rather quickly! I’ve spent hours redoing their home. My nobility spirit took overhand, their residence is currently good enough for a duke... basically I think a Lord would live rather averagely, but with tons of new royal CC it’s hard to keep back. At least they both dress StrangerVille-ish. Will post some pics from the house some other day.

Once the invitation was sent, there was no return. House of Saxor sent out invitations to all members of the Meadows District Order for the knighting event on the 1st day of Winter, which is tradition. There are rules saying that the new member can be knighted with a minimum of two witnesses, but most district orders just as well gather their members. Hardly any of them have the full 8 members anyway, meaning it is not a big event. It’s not really intended to be a public session, either, but there might be one journalist present unless some of the members protest.

Well, this year I think the Meadows was the only district order knighting a new member. Lord Ted Rossell of Acres arrived San Myshuno with his wife, Meredith. All guests got seated (except Lord Vintec Rab-Saxor of Prome, who got stuck in the elevator), and the ceremony could begin!

Duke Victus Amador Saxor knighted Lord Ted Rossell of Acres (64). Of curse the sword did not show, but perhaps they quit using a sword ages ago...?

The other members enthusiastically watched the rituals. Above you see Duke Jarret Ross of Rossie (53), his wife Duchess Ribra Lynn (59) who was born Thebe and also carries the title Lady of Myshuno. Behind them is Lady Claudia Tangerin of Shine (69). Shine is an older name of the Uptown quarter of San Myshuno.

Duchess Gloria of Meadows (67) (of this house) and ex-Duke Auphor Saxor (82) both wearing their Meadows District Order medal. The event is just formal so it would be wrong wearing the sash. 

In the back we see Ted Rossell’s wife, Meredith (52). She certainly has a lesson to learn when it comes to dress codes, jewelry and make-up...

Duke Victus is still feeling that Ted Rossell should not have been included, but being 2nd in line to the dukedom, there was not much of a choice. Ted and Meredith even had a son, which Victus did not. If Victus dies, Ted will take over!
