Years ago I took photos in the back hallways of Rosedale Center of the electrical boxes that had markings of stores long gone which I'll share periodically. Kinney Shoes was once known as "The Great American Shoe Store," and it grew into the largest family shoe chain in the United States. An original tenant at Rosedale when the mall opened in 1969, it closed all of its nearly 500 stores in 1998.
