One moment Rose is taking care of a job for Unit, the next one Bad Wolf feels a pull. Something is different, something is changing that isn't meant to, not now, further down the line, but it's wrong and she must fix the wrongs. Especially this one, she knows she's meant to do it. So she steps across the timeline, reaching through the universe and time itself, to find the threat. "You shouldn't be here, this is not your place," she says, eyes burning with light, and only speaks up so that Rose, some day, when she remembers this, will be able to grasp why, "Return where you were and stop." A wave of her hand, and the hundreds of creatures disintegrate, never having been there, soon never having existed after the point in time in which they were meant to die. So small and insignificant, yet loud enough to have attracted them there. Perhaps she should have cut the branches of their entire family earlier than that point, destroyed it at the root? The Bad Wolf turned, sensing her Doctor was there. Too soon for her, too soon for them.
