This is getting bad. Now that the council of the Hyuga got involved in Neji's and Hinata's affairs, the fun truly stops here. Because it means, they are now aware of Tenten's activities and her role as an inventor. Even if, they were to get punished somehow, or humiliated in public, Tenten's life would still remain in danger, because of this old fart.

And whenever Danzo's ROOT goons get involved, you know, that this is not a laughing matter. I always hated how Shippuden just painted these guys as simple cannonfodder, no different from the normal shinobi, working in the field, so here, I made them legitimately threatening. To give more context, if you want to join the ROOT Anbu:

You have to be aggressive and heartless

You no longer have any family to speak of, or any relatives (clan relations don't matter)

No wife, and no kids

You have to be self-sacrifical, when the moment calls for it

Fear doesn't exist, loss doesn't exist, no mercy to be found in your soul

How appropriate, because attacking freaking teenagers, who just want to mind their own business, not even hurting anyone, that goes a few steps too far, now doesn't it? And this is what I have been.

But worry not, Neji's story isn't over just yet. Now that he has unlocked a new power, involving his Byakugan, it is the perfect time for me to show you, how his eyes looked like, here you go:

And no, Hanabi showing up here, isn't the big assist that you have been waiting for just yet. The bigger one, is yet to come. This is only the appetizer of what she will contribute to the outcome of the story.
