jaafar seeing you go out for girl’s night
(OvO) “Where you going?” “It’s girl’s night out!”

“Fuck yes!” You exclaimed happily, and why were you this happy?
Because it’s a girl’s night and you were sooo fucking ready to get ready, party, dance with your girls, and probably drink some margaritas.
You had put on some gold jewelry, a nice black dress that hung nicely on your figure, along with a nice gold necklace.
You put on your favorite heels that make it just perfect for the outfit.
Meanwhile, Jaafar was cooking dinner, and he didn’t know that you were gonna be gone for the night. He suddenly smells the perfume he bought you. It’s that rich Versace perfume he bought you when you both were shopping last week.
Turning around, he almost dropped the wooden spoon he was using for some pasta sauce.
“Whoa..” he said, shocked, his cheeks heated up seeing how beautiful you looked. He turned around fully, moving to lean against the countertop by the stove that’s on minimum high.
“How do I look?” You asked with a very small smile, giving him a small twirl.
How do you look? If Jaafar could, he would’ve told you, “You look like every word that could describe beauty. “
“You look... wow, you look beautiful.” He said softly, more softly than he intended to. But it already made you smile bashfully.
“Thanks, J.” You spoke in the tone that meant you truly appreciated it. Jaafar could only nod.
You both ended up staring at each other, embracing the silence before you looked behind him with a small chuckle.
“Jaafar, the sauce?” You said, pointing over his shoulder. Jaafar’s eyes widened as he turned around.
“Oh shit!” He turned off the stove and moved the pasta sauce that had almost burned.
Laughing, Jaafar ran a hand through his curls before looking at you again. “Where are you going anyway?”
“Oh, I have a girls' night tonight.” You said simply, tilting your weight to your other foot.
Jaafar nodded, taking in why you were so dolled up. “Want me to uh, drop you off?” He asked. Trying to act like he isn’t trying to grab more time with you, despite now fixing the pasta sauce and pouring it over the pasta.
“It’s okay, one of my girls is outside.”
Jaafar pressed his lips into a thin line, but you didn’t see it, of course. He turned the stove off and took off his apron.
“Let me just escort you down.” He said quickly, afraid of his voice letting out the feeling he had.
You raised a brow as Jaafar quickly walked past you and opened the door to the shared condo you both live in.
“You sure?” You questioned, “You seemed pretty busy making the pasta.”
“Nonsense, it’s my duty as your roommate to make sure you’re safe,” Jaafar said with a smile, watching how you couldn’t help but smile back at him.
“Okay then.” You said softly, walking past him as he then closed the door.
Just one more minute.
Aftermath— Jaafar couldn’t get the thought of your face and how you looked. His face burned with embarrassment as he couldn’t even look at the pasta he was eating. He just wondered how you would look during… nvm.
