“THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE.”
“THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE.” -John 8:32
Freedom isn’t found in man-made creeds. It’s found in truth.
Biblical Unitarianism removes the confusion. No philosophical twists. No forced contradictions.
Just one God, the Father- exactly as Scripture declares.
Suddenly the Bible reads clearly: Jesus means what he says. The apostles speak plainly. The story flows from Genesis to Revelation without tension.
You’re not chained to a doctrine the Bible never explicitly teaches.
You’re free to believe what’s actually written.
And that truth? It sets you free.
Jesus could do NOTHING of himself!
John 5:19,30; 8:28
God his Father did the works John 14:10, Acts 2:22, 10:38
Pre-existence or pre-incarnation?
1 Pet 1:20: Jesus “was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but was made manifest in these last times.”
Not personal pre-existence but Foreknown (proegnōsmenou = “known beforehand”) refers to God’s plan or purpose.
Same biblical pattern: - Acts 2:23 - crucifixion foreknown - Ephesians 1:4 - we were chosen before the world - Revelation 13:8 - the Lamb slain from the foundation - 2 Timothy 1:9 - grace given before the ages, manifested now “Made manifest” - a plan revealed in history (Col 1:26; Titus 1:3) Peter also calls Jesus “a man attested by God” (Acts 2:22), whom God made Lord and Messiah (Acts 2:36). Jesus existed in God’s foreknowledge and plan, begotten through the virgin birth and revealed as the Messiah.

Luke 22:42 -“Not my will, but Yours be done.”
Jesus distinguishes his will from God’s will.
Two wills = two persons.
If Jesus is God, whose will is he submitting to?
This verse makes perfect sense if Jesus is the Messiah, God’s obedient Son- not God Himself.
Submission isn’t co-equality. It’s faithful obedience.
God Raised Jesus
Therefore, the Raiser is not identical to the Raised!
