#romanticizing studying

Even tho i don't have any followers or anything I'd like to continue writing here from time to time to keep me motivated in my studies

This way I can't give up because I would be betraying my imaginary audience lmao

Anyway I have less than one semester left before completing my undergrad/bachelor/whatever the English equivalent is, I have to work even harder !!!

I passed my first semester with an A (even got a 100/100 on my final essay about Canadian Indigenous studies) !!!!! It encourages me to continue this way because now I know that I am capable of achieving it, and I've finally found a study method that works well for me so I'm full of hope !

before using pomodoro, set a stopwatch and pay attention to your work to see how long you can actually focus for before taking a break.

-try blurting !! (take your notes, read it once and take another page and write down whatever you remember. note down whatever you missed out on, and repeat the process till you remember the entire thing)

-don't listen to music w lyrics, i find soft piano to help or water sounds

-use a blue pen, or try making your notes as colorful as possible

-relate your learnings to the world around you

-when you are studying a topic, try teaching it to something/someone, as if their/its a 5 year old. if you cannot explain the concept in simple words, you did not understand it yourself

-if your learning a language, try translating your daily texts to that language and also try reading comprehensions

-watch short study motivation videos

𐙚

-lastly, consider studying to be a priveldge rather than a chore !!
